Today's mail call breaks the brush maker tie in my den with Wild West Brush Works out front.
Hybrid RazoRock Game Changer .84 P on Barbaros Levend Handle P / Personna Platinum / WWBW Beam 2 band badger / SV Manna di Sicilia

Near perfect shave, while I'm on record as not a fan of SV packaging and puck size variety, the soap is a performer every time, and this personna blade, sits just outside my go to's besting some coated DE blades I've sampled, wonder how long until Brush Wars is tied up again, nearly as addictive as soaps, nearly...I jest, not even close, but I enjoy artisan brushes for sure!

Hey Tim you should try the Cube from PAA. I think it works better then the oils IMHO. It is really slick and I believe helps in keeping the skin moisturized. I prefer the mentholated version for the added coolness, but either way it is an outstanding product. I use it like a shave stick and lather it up on my face then squeeze the remaining lather out of my bush into my scuttle. I load the brush with my shave soap, then begin mixing the excess Cube lather as a build the shave soap lather. It works great.

Whew! Home and shaved at last. Jennifer got home this morning after an all night drive. She hung out at work with me for awhile then came on to the house since I was going straight from my day job to GrubHub. Busy night on the road and I was looking forward to getting back to the NEW LC and Voskhod. Since Charlie @wristwatchb pointed out how rarely we see Stirling products in this thread I decided to treat him with both the brush and soap from Stirling. Iced Coffee for the soap - as that is actually a bit rare. And I love it. I'm still savoring the scent. The badger whipped up a full three passes of lather with a full handful left when I squeezed the brush.

Three passes, the baby is in the house, I smell awesome and I'm pretty doggone good looking, if I do say so myself. And I have to. Because nobody around here will say it. Hope you had a great day! I'll catch up a bit then see you all on Hump Day!
