Sorry i have been slacking on my TSD posts latley. Things have been busy around the house these past few weeks.

Man do i really love this Storybook Shaken soap. One of the best scents i have come across by far. Unique spicy scent that is unlike anything else on the market IMO. Perfoemance is top notch as well. Hope everyone is doing well ans getting great shaves!

I purchased a Batch 2 Mongoose SE razor a few years ago, and the solid SS Big Bomber handle came with it. I also purchased a smaller version of the same style handle, and it is called the Dr. Bomber. The Big Bomber handle and the R41 razor head weigh 5.75 ounces, making it the heaviest DE razor I've ever used. Because of the extra weight, I focus more on using the correct blade angle, very little pressure, and good skin stretching. The size and texture of the handle actually makes the razor a pleasure to use.

It's been a long and busy day and I have a lot of catching up to do. But.....I did see earlier where @Primotenore had encountered a bad review on the Fatip, then shaved with a Fatip to prove them wrong. Well, I'm standing in solidarity with the Primo Man and holding my Fatip up loud and proud and letting everyone know - it's an AWESOME razor. Bad build quality?! Never. Bad shave? ! Never. It will cut you and bite you?! Well, ok, yeah if you don't give it some respect but let's be honest - the R41 does that. The OT Gillette's will do that. Refuse to respect a pain stick and you may leave the room minus an ear. The Fatip is a great razor that works every time when you apply the right technique. Don't like the finish on it? Tough. It is what it is. And I think it's a sharp razor. Ok, rant over.

Three passes on the El Caballero with the JR54 and the baby is in the house, alum is quiet and my day is done! I can now say that I have attended a ballet and.....I enjoyed myself. As an old musician who played piano from a young age, sang in choirs and a soloist for years back in the day and even got to play with the KC Philharmonic as a college student, the ballet was a bit confusing at first. Great music, of course, but nobody was singing!! What the.....when does the singing......oh......right.....dancing.

My wife thoroughly enjoyed herself and we had a great evening. Might have to try that again sometime.

Friday beckons! And Christmas is literally around the corner!

Great shave . The blades were a losing their edge and lasted longer than they should have. The scent of this soap is awesome and the lather is really good.
