I don't seem very focussed, unless focussing on getting a great shave counts.
If it does, then consider today successful.
Posted about B&M soaps the other day made me want to break one out.

After the last few months of "titanic" usage, I am somewhat overwhelmed making daily choices.
I might consider the ever-popular randomizer for a few days.
The biggest drawback is the occasional mismatching of soap/AS scents.

Leviathan is a potent and unique scent in my den. There is also a hint of cedarwood, which is not printed on this label,
but according to the B&M website, it is now on the new batches.
B&M soaps always produce exquisite lather. They can take a lot of water and the slickness is very good.

When loading with this Vie-Long, I am always careful not to jam the knot into the tub, for fear of further
damaging the bristles. The previous owner was none to careful and the result is the knot doesn't splay
evenly. It looks like it has been in a strong wind.
Still, the hair is soft with not too great of backbone.
The Fatip on day two is still an easy razor with which to shave. The handle is a bit slippery for my liking,
so I am compelled to make sure my fingers are dry(ish) before picking it up. It has slipped out of my hand twice now.
Note to self: get the alum chunk out...

Three passes and a bit of ATG buffing rounded out a very satisfying shave.
The Leviathan AS is pretty potent. SWMBO has the next few days off and we are headed into
the "big city", so we might get a thumbs up or down cooped up in an auto.

No I’m good on razors. I am on the lookout for a Paladin Moe brush in the Vesuvius resin.

Spyderco is a local company. About a twenty minute drive from the house. I can't go there without walking out with a new knife.[IMG]

Another great 3 pass shave this morning and everything worked as it should. 2nd use of the Platinum. Adventus is obviously a very popular scent as there are many dupes of it. I believe it was Andrew who said ‘smoky pineapple’ and that is pretty accurate. I notice some similarities with L’Orange Noir (Terre d’Hermes) as I’ve thought of that as ‘burnt orange’. Like them both and have come to enjoy Fine soaps, once you get them dialed in.
Today is my last day at work for two weeks. I’m really looking forward to the time off and to be able to spend some time at home. Lousy snow year so far, but our ski hill just opened last weekend and there will be some days there too.
    Have a great day all!

This morning I decided I wanted to change thing up and end my run with the Mamba .70. I decided to go with the Rex which is my stand by, ready to go at a moments notice, can feel like anything I want razor. Loaded it up with the venerable Pol Silver, made a nice super goop lather from The Coffee Spoons soap and away we go. The Rex is balanced perfectly right below the adjustment knob and has just enough blade exposure to let you fine tune the angle really easily. Three smooth, easy, passes had the baby easily in hand. I finished with a splash of frozen cranberry which has a strong menthol kick and a nice scent that puts me in good mood. Have a great weekend my friends. Tomorrow starts eight days off for me. Happy Holidays everyone!

    TGIF!!!
