Awesome coworker! Stirling is one of my favorite gifts to hand out. (Minky Couture scarfs are cool too fellas) So far, I haven't had anyone not like stoylin.

Some reviewers on the website say Coniferous smells like a Christmas tree. I figure Conif to have a "year-round" pine scent. Hard to imagine a forest full of X-mas trees.

Since I missed Monday, I decided to join @Yehuda D today with a glorious menthol selection. GLO was amazingly frigid this morning and was my 1st use of the AS. Wham! What a kick, loving it! Happy shaving all!

I like Gatlinberg better than Coniferous because to MY nose it’s a more complex and well-rounded scent, while still having the strong tree smell I love.

Christmas Eve has the obvious tree smell (it’s Christmas Eve after all!), but the scent offers SO MUCH more than that. It’s truly Christmas in a plastic tub! And I LOVE it!

OK Rod, here’s a challenge..........Independence Day! It has to incorporate fresh cut grass, BBQ smoke, some beer spilled on the shirt, flowers in bloom, maybe some coconut lotion, and whatever clean air smell replicates a hot July summer breeze for the base note. No small order, but I never thought Christmas could be summarized like it has been, so why not July 4th?

Interesting you'd take Gatlinburg over Coniferous. I had a Gatlinburg sample(from my last sample batch), and thought it was all right(but didn't buy a full bottle). I'll have another look at Gatlinburg. That's a good challenge for Doc Ezlovan-the crew should be settled in their new business location by then.

I sample with soaps, then back up my favorites with AS and balms. There are usually small but still complimentary differences between the products of the same scent.

Maybe Gatlinberg will grow on you. Ozark Mountain was a very early Stirling purchase that I initially regretted. Now it’s one of my absolute favorites, and I’ll never be without it.

Thanks! I’m not sure about coconut either, I was just closing my eyes and trying to remember what the Fourth smells like.

I was out of town most of last week and used a sample of Scots Pine Sheep. Wonderful soap base but the scent isn't much to my liking. I wouldn't get a full tub of it, but I love the mutton formula.

Should be back in the saddle with Ozark Mountain for tomorrow!

I wiped out 2.5 days growth last night with Christmas Eve, an Omega Mighty Midget, and a 37c. It was a fantastic experience.

I think Doc Ezlovan's message on Coniferous is "If you like Scots Pine Sheep, you'll love Coniferous".

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, after using the Glacial Wintergreen trio and the Arctique I feel like I was in a freezer. But I loved every minute of it and I got BBS! ;)

3 Wintergreens and Artctique??? Reminds me of the poor Washington Capitals(NHL)player who gave himself an ice-water bucket dousing, then right after he finished toweling himself off, two girls from a balcony right above him dropped another ice-water bucket on him.

Merry Christmas to the wonderful members of the Stirling sub-forum! I just started and finished a great shave on both sides of midnight with Christmas Eve! It was the perfect way to ring in Christmas morning!

Now I need to hit the hay for a quick five hours of sleep before our traditional in the dark present unwrapping begins. My dad is getting a load of Christmas Eve scented products and a Lil Brudder to expand his shaving experience.
