    Razor: Supply Co Lvl3
    Blade: Schick Proline (2)
    Brush: Maseto Finest badger
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: JoHS Bay Rum
    Stirling Bay Rum witch hazel
    AS: JoHS Bay Rum

    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start the day. Three smooth passes to BBS. I did get some warmth from the alum on my neck which surprised me as smooth as the shave felt.

    Have a great day!

Thanks Randy. A local church produced this video. I love the way these sweet kids tell the Christmas story.

    Good Saturday morning to all.

    Razor- 1953 G8 Schick
    Blade- Schick B-20
    Soap- Razorock Mudder Focker
    Brush- Omega Badger
    Finish- Nivea

After the 30DF with my R41 and the 3 days with a 1905 Gillette, I decided to switch gears. The G8 gave me a wonderful DFS but not without some extra fidgeting. Don't get me wrong, I can get very nice and close shave with it, but it is picky how you hold the stick.
Seems to have a very narrow sweet spot. Unlike the blade holders I'm accustomed to, if you go to far one way or the other, it just doesn't shave.
So once I found where the razor likes to mow down the wiskers, all went fine. I know why some like this little whisker cutter. I can be a little lazy with my skill set and still get a close comfortable shave.
This mornings 3 pass face turned into a 4 pass on some areas, with no ill effect. My 3 pass head shave was just that, 3 passes and no issues.
I tried this razor weeks ago but using different blades and the pulling wss
unbearable, but with the B-20 blades the pulling had vanished. I loaded 7 blades into the injector by removing the back and leaf spring. I then reassembled it with the B-20 blades being careful not to damage the new blades.

    Have a fine weekend.
    Enjoy!

Holds and edge eternally? oh my, if that’s true then I may have gone the other way. Is it feeling a little warm in here? I like honing and stropping almost as much as the shave. Even though it can be frustrating occasionally, but most of the time it’s very rewarding shaving with an edge that was done by your own hands.

    OneBlade Genesis V1
    Feather FHS
    Paladin Moe
Proraso Single Blade Cypress & Vetiver Cream & ASB
Stirling Soap Co MITA Witch Hazel & Aloe
    ADP Ginepro Di Sardegna

Once I softened up the Single Blade Cream which thickened considerably, it lathered well but took some extra work. Paladin Moe feels great in my hand and made a mountain of thick, fragrant, lubricious suds. First pass with the OneBlade ATG and the second pass XTG/WTG with NO FEAR left me clean, smooth, and exhilarated. Have a good weekend and a great shave today gang!
