The Primo Randomizer picked today's gear:

Up until today, I would have given the WSP a 3/5 star rating; indeed I wrote such a review on Amazon.
I think I am going to go back and amend it.
While my nose still picks up a very heavy orange peel scent, today's lather was rewarding.
After a shower-length bloom, I loaded the CH2 to the gills and bowl-lathered the product
in my Aesop SS.
Twice emptying the breach and adding water, I was able to really develop a top-notch lather.

Finding the angle on the Merkur Progress is not intuitive. I had the gap set to four (4) and after a few
strokes---strokes that I could barely discern blade-to-skin contact, bumped it to five (5).
The razor does not give a great deal of feedback so you must really "tune-in" to the feel.
With such terrifically, slick lather, the handle proved to be my nemesis.
I have probably mentioned this before, but this handle is almost as bad as the Mühle standard handle.
Was zum Teufel gibt's mit diesen deutschen Rasierapparaten??
HOWEVER, despite my slippery grip, I was able to achieve the BEST shave I have ever gotten
with this soap and razor.
Seeing that my randomizer chose the Meehan Sandalwood cologne, I decided to mix a few drops
with my newly acquired Stirling Unscented Glacial ASB---Thank you @NCoxSTL
Here's my one issue with this product:
IF you use too much, and by too much, I mean more than a 1/4 teaspoon, it will NOT easily
absorb into the skin. Seriously, I have to rinse my hands and dry them thoroughly and
then continue to massage the product into my skin, before it will finally "disappear".
I have no such issues with my other ASB's.
The glacial/sandalwood combined (finally) for a very refreshing post-shave feel.​

I think if I used the randomizer I would have to leave the aftershaves out of the mix. Most of my software is matched sets and my OCD wouldn't allow me to mismatch them.
