Alright guys....made it home. Chicago was a blast! Did some conference stuff and had great food with Alice and other director friends. Pretty worn out. Will have to check in more later.

I shaved with Stirling Scots Pine Sheep sample, Schick J1, Satin Tip synthetic, and Fine American Blend splash with Stirling Unscented balm. Good shaves with COLD tap water. Really cold. But good shaves in the end.

Went by Merz Apothecary's Loop location. More on that later.

I'm hopelessly behind on the thread and will just pick up where I am now. Hopefully I didn't miss anything major.

With the Stirling balls I use a dollop about the size of a grain of wild rice

Thank you Patrick. And it hasn’t been easy keeping up the last two months. So many posts and so little time.

Balms... Anyone else who uses Tapatalk having trouble editing posts? I hit edit and am just presented with a blank post.

I know what you mean about the Stirling balm. I used way too much the first time and had trouble rubbing it in. Now I use about a pea-sized amount with wonderful results.

Nice shave Rick. It’s hard to keep up with little one when the messy mood strikes.

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but........we hid a post in the middle while you were gone that offered a 1 million dollar prize specifically to you if you mentioned it in your very first post back. Man I was so hoping you'd find that. Oh well, I can buy more Sharp Stars now. Good to hear you had a good trip and welcome home!!!
