I'm really hoping he makes it passed the "danger to himself or others" portion of his life. Had to remove the step stool from the kitchen, but he keeps bringing it back. Found a fruit bowl liberally sprinkled with salt and pepper. I'm still not sure what the liquid was inside the salt shaker.

 

Thanks, Clint. I knew it was going to be more than the 4-6 months the contractor quoted, it’s looking like 13 or 14 months instead. It will be worth it when it is done. I keep looking around thinking, “Is this really our house?” We are very excited.

She is three now, she does what she wants. That was the first thing cooked in the new kitchen, breakfast this morning. Mrs. Gulch was just out of the picture keeping chos to a minimum.

Mandom is important. That was sold as an 8/8th, but measures a 17/16th. It’s a Koraat double hollow with horn scales. Nice shaver.

 

May have to do that. I generally try to save the shavette for the weekend shaves. I seem to take more time on the weekends but if I improve my technique I could become the shavette ninja!

hello folks, nice peaceful day,christmas lunch of halibut and chips with my son. all good. thought i would have a shave.going through the pics and stuff and was inspired by @ram57 most recent pic. absolutely beautifully done pic and set up.. well i loaded a gsb blade in my flat bottom tech, blew the dust off the omega 10005 boar( my first non wilkinson brush purchase) and built up a nice creamy bowl of black ship grooming captains reserve lather.fantastic 2 pass combination shave with minor pick ups. dfs ,no drama..cold water rinse and a touch of thayers..still shaving almost daily and enjoying it..off work now until the new year but will still keep up the shave routine.still only using a blade for 3 shaves , but they will go more quickly now,may try to stretch them or not..
so thats 2 weeks in no irritation or problems so far..i guess you folks will see my shaving gear more,, oh and blach ship reserve a/ s to finish. lovely aventus like scent..happy christmas everyone, gary

 

thats cool, my daughter at 3 years or so painted the kitchen and livingroom furniture with a large tub of margarine..her mother was so pleased..

Danny, you are on the ball! Well, it's a long story. As the group got more mature (older) and wider in girth, we traded the 'Vette for a '68 Dodge Polara. It's the same car you see in the movie, "Grumpy Old Men." We thought that would be a fitting car for the 30DC. It's usually kept in STL for meetup transporation. Occasionally, it is used for international trips to places like Alabama and Georgia.

Naturally, @NCoxSTL offered to let us use his personal Cartel limo, a Lada 2101 karaganda, for official 30DC business. Unfortunately, it is limited to 1 passenger, a couple hundred razors, 75 brushes, a few thousand blades, and only 684 containers of Stirling Soap. It's a sweet ride, but it's simply too impractical. This car is rather collectible, having only been driven to and from a Mattress Store and on Grubhub runs in STL on weekends.
