I forgot to add that Natalia said that y'all refered to the van as the "Shaving Wagon" not the Shaggin Wagon.

    Decadent December!!

    Razor - Fatip Piccolo
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Soap - Soap Commander Courage
    Brush - Jayaruh #230
    Post - Alum

O.G. 30 DC Representing in the HOUSE! Still on the Fatip and Ladas and a decadent switch to the one vegan soap that really works well for me, the Soap Commander. Courage is the name and shaving its its game. Seriously, this is a really slick soap with lots of cushion. The fact that it's a vegan soap amazes me. The scent of the Courage is nice as well and one of my wife's favorites when I pull it out front. Three full passes tonight to finish with a BBS and quiet alum. The Fatip really showed off how fine a razor it is when given the right respect and technique. A great way to end a long Saturday.

Nice and thanks on the Soap Commander comments. Always wondered how it performs.

Great shave Rick ! I have no grandkids yet , but when I do I'll call you for advise!

    Welcome back Perry.

Beautiful pics of house. Glad to see you're close to finished. Beautiful family also. They grow up spool fast . I'm down to my last one and she's 10 already.

My kids laugh when I call them chips, that's what my father called fries. I love my omega 10005 btw. Solid brush.

Tried the Lapas last week, very good shave from it.

Random acts of three year oldism, that’s hilarious and also so true. I know with my 14&16 year olds the absolute worst thing you could do is to take away the phone. They act like it is life ending, it makes me wish they never had them at all.

Hello winter and everone on this fine Sunday morning.

I know this is a 30 day forum kinda but I don't have a rule in place yet so....
I found this little chunk of metal in the mail box, not unexpected mind you. Took it for a spin in the clean up routine last night. Tried it out for this mornings Sunday shave.
    20181223_065414.jpg
Notice it isn't in perfect condition but very good user grade. While cleaning it, I took note of the weight, heavy. This might be one of the heaviest razors I own.
The razor did catch me off gard once, a little burn spot on the side of the neck. To much weight on the blade for what I'm used to. After I got the heaviness under control, things got better, much better. I'll admit it took almost half of the first pass to lighten things up, but after the right side lap so to speak, pure shaving goodness took place in the bathroom.
The second and third pass went nice and swift with no more issues. The three pass head shave was close and smooth with no issues.
Oh, didn't mention I started out on setting 9, and finished on 9. Seems a adjustables on the highest setting is a good starting place for me, then I just leave it there. :D
Although I am a fan of light weight razors, almost wore me out keeping this one on the lighter of things. ;)
It's not going any where, it's a keeper!
I understand why this razor is so wanted, I just bought it on a whim, glad I did.
Great shave, gental blade feel too.
All in all a great shave to say the least.

Razor- 1959 Gillette "Fat Boy" on 9
    Soap- Stirling Sandle Wood
Blade- Feather new ( of course )
    Brush- Omega badger
    Finish- Nivea

    Enjoy your day!

    Razor: Supply Co Lvl2
    Blade: Schick Proline (3)
    Brush: Montalvo mixed
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: JoHS Blood on Steel
    Lucky Tiger face tonic
    AS: JoHS Blood on Steel

    Good morning!

Excellent shave to start the day. Three passes, BBS result. A tickle from the alum on my neck. I switched to the 2 dot plate for today's shave. Less blade feel with the same BBS finish. I'm going to stick with this setting for awhile.

    Have a great day!

Blackland Sabre L2 UFO Titan Fine
    GEM PTFE
Doug Korn Taca Shavemac D01 Flat Top
    iColoniali Mango Soap & AS
    ADP Cedro Di Taormina

At the suggestion of @clint64 I tried another handle on the Sabre. The UFO Titan Fine was fatter and longer than the Sabre handle. It was lighter with a better grip. The Shavemac D01 knot is a big improvement over the previous one. iColoniali, easy, slick, and fragrant lather was wonderful. Two Passes +cleanup left me with a near BBS. Finished with iColoniali aftershave balm and the ADP Cedro. I am smooth, reinvigorated and ready for the day. Have a great shave all!

Sabre Lvl 2 with Triad Ti
    Gem PTFE
    Romera
    MdC Vetyver
    Fine Fresh Vetiver

Seems like Mark and I had similar thoughts on today's shave. The little Romera whipped up the MdC into a wonderful rich fragrant lather. What the little brush lacks in backbone it makes up for in efficiency. Three passes and minimal touch ups ended with the baby in hand. A splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver and I am ready for the day. Asha and I are going to take my Mom out to lunch. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
