Acutally, the case reviews at The North Pole can sometimes be very complicated.

This was my first outing with Lord Super Stainless blade. I wasn't sure what to expect, so I performed a simple one pass plus touch up shave. No complaints at all. It's a good blade but possibly less smooth than most Russian blades I've used. I'll return to my two pass shaves tomorrow and continue to evaluate the blade.

    Have a joyful Christmas break!

Sounds like a fantastic trip Perry. Is Wilson excited for Christmas?

Hide you box of good flexible cloth knuckle and finger tip bandaids. There's no such thing a "catching up" on sleep. It doesn't get easier when they get older. Did that help?

Mine were that age when we got the first family computer in '96. Had to schedule time slots. Getting their screen time reduced was very effective.

That called a non-focused Focus. Just wing it, but make it sound like you're learning something.

Sure, you can start there! Love my '59 FB.
You can start it lower, if you need the training wheels on...

Glad you got to sniff them. Not the all day powerhouse products of the old line.
Gary - I'm around! You can always PM so I see your message early on. Got company to arrive imminently so I'm policing the wrecking crew to keep down the dust cloud.

Charlie- I love the Seville out of the 3 you listed. The Cologne Russe is fine, it just doesn’t stand out to me like the Seville does. I also really enjoy Lavanille, but many others don’t. I will send you a few samples, in different bases, so you can tell for yourself. PM me if your address has changed.

    Fendrihan Lavender Sandalwood soap sample
Alum and TSD Lavender Milk Aftershave

No pic today - a nickel-plated ball end Tech just like the last one, except this one is dated.

Typical Tech shave - mild but efficient. Two passes to a DFS with no complaints from the alum. The blade seemed less effective tonight, so I binned it after seven shaves. The milk aftershave provided a nice finish.

    Razor 3.jpg Razors 2.jpg
Natalia and the family went shopping today and came across a couple of Gem Micromatics and a blade dispenser at an antique store. The guy had about 6 Gillette razors but the prices were way to high. I then noticed these little bullets and dispenser in the bottom of the display case. He was wanting $10.00 for each razor and $5.00 for the dispenser. The dispenser has some rust on the back but I wanted it to go in my Fatboy case. He said that he would take $20.00 for the lot and Natalia offered him $5.00 or she would take him out back.:think002: I explained to Natalia that we don't work like that and $20.00 was fine plus he throwed in about 6 small candles for my wife.

The plastic tip razor is in excellent shape and the other Gem is suppose to be gold but it has lost a lot of it gold finish.

The Gillette blade dispenser looks great with my E2 Fatboy and case. The case is not mint and has a few problems but the Fatboy was needing a home. I picked the case up last week without a razor. I think the blade dispenser is correct for the period but I think the original dispenser that came with the Fatboys only had 6 blades. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

    Nor do I

    Yes we have

I can’t remember where we parked it and I can’t find the keys.

Sounds like a wonderful time, I gained weight just reading your post.

Natalia has many skills, negotiating being one of them, but she can be a bit intense.
