Here is where I'm at on the Clubman.

I am not the kind that ever wears cologne but I like bay rum. I wear Ogallala Bay Rum after I found it a few weeks ago, sometimes. I bought some Clubman Bay Rum (it's all great on the reviews) and have had it for a few weeks. I opened it for the first time a while ago and wasn't impressed. Took a sample in to a guy that likes the Ogallala Bay Rum, well....not good.
So...
Seems that it has to sit on your skin for a while and change or evaporate the base. I haven't been brave enough to wear it out yet, but might wear it at home to tell how it evolves over time.
So I'll let you know how it turns out.

Terry, I have and use Captain's Choice Bay Rum...good stuff. I tried Barrister and Mann Bay Rum soap, however, and there was something about it that I didn't like. I suppose there can be some variation between the bay rum scent formulations.

It's not uncommon for a scent to change a few minutes after it's applied. Go easy on it initially if you're concerned about applying too much. Let us know what you think!

I have some Masters Bay Rum, not to bad. I haven't wore that yet either. Got some Captain's Choice Bay Rum shaving soap, not bad.
If I get to much Clubman on I'm not to worried, hear it works as good as Deet.

Ogallala Bay Rum is up in the rotation for tomorrow morning. I got it for Christmas. I haven't tried the Clubman Bay Rum. I'm a Bay Rum junkie, I have several and I enjoy them all.

Think it's "self induced" for most of the younger ones. The older ones just don't have anywhere else to go for help. Most don't have family either, sad.

Yes I like bay rum the best of all, and barber shop a close second, then sandelwood. Getting some Stirling Bay Rum AS balm, it's on the way here.
