Cal, the other day you said that Ever Ready I saw (with "lift here" no the sides) was a neat? What does that mean? Should I go pick it up?

 

Nahh I said it was Neat.... I have a few of those. If I am right it is a 1914 model. the top hinges foward instead of backwards. If I am thinking of the same one.

Neat as in cool.. it is a neat find..... Shaves that same to me as the 1912 models jsut had that cool opening head.

Yes, i ordered 2 tubes of the La Toja sensitive. Leon also kindly sent me a sample of the La toja AS splash. It must have a lot of alcohol, it burns a bit more than I would like

For what it's worth, Bank of America has great phone support. I hated the fact that they bought over Fleet. Bank of America banks around here are always busy, screw things up, etc., etc., but their customer service on the phone is second to none.

I'm doing quite well. Yourself? Tracking on those sample containers says I should have them by Thursday, so I'll get your stuff to you on Friday.

Other than the 444 Balm, there isn't anything I want to try from Leon. I think my next order may come from Shaving Essentials in the distant future when I run out of a tub of TOBS cream. I'm not allowed to buy anything for a while again.

What's the model of Gem you'd send for me to try, Fuzzy?

Cal, another quick stupid question that I think I've asked before....the dates referring to Gems/Ever Readys, etc... reference their patent dates, and not necessarily their production dates, right? so it could be a 1912, but actually made in, say, 1920, right? But you'd never know....

Honestly, I haven't given it much thought yet. We're not huge into the commercialism of V Day. We might just do dinner or treat it like any other day. We didn't do anything special for it last year.
