Friday's Shave Cold Water Wash Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #217 AutoStrop A1 Modified Gem CWR Aqua Velva My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop A1 Safety Razor with a Modified Gem SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

If this is what "cheap" shaving is like, then I don't wanna be rich! Y'all, the more I use this green mountain soap, the more I like it. I'd put it up against any other company! Take car guys, and stick around, I'll have baby sonogram pictures soon.

@brit Good day gentlemen. I believe that Dunshire by Stirling is the scent currently offered that is inspired by DGO. One of my faves. Be well!
Yup, it is the balance and weight that is the difference. On occasion I can obtain a one passm near BBS shave with the Genesis and 2 pass is BBS but with the Core always a 2 pass and still feel nubs on some sections of my face ATG but never so with the Genesis. I have to apply pressure with the Core and with the Genesis, let the weight of razor do the work.
