Not me I’d be done in a week and a half. I need to step up my soap selection I guess

Let me know if you want a couple. I have some I've been trying to off-load and will get them to you for basically the shipping cost.

A quick update on my family and I...

Sherri (DW) has, so far been spared from the flu; this may be, in part, due to the fact that she got her flu shot only a few weeks ago when she had pneumonia. Faith (DD) is still being hit hard by the Influenza-A and stomach flu which also seem to be exacerbating her AMPS. I'm doing better, but still feel somewhat crappy at times.

I needed to do a Target run, however, to get some supplies and so I took my first shower and shave since Monday. I was feeling the need for the big guns, however, so I pulled out a Schick B1 repeater with a Proline B blade along with the Stirling Sheep and Plissoft brush. Despite the four days growth and some initial concerns that I might need to change blades, everything came out very nicely.

FYI, at Target, I noticed several boxes of a Cremo gift set on one of the many Clearance shelves. It appeared to contain a tin of a special version of their lathering cream (looked like more than just sandalwood) and one of their horse hair brushes. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the price. This was not over by the shaving aisle, but on a shelf with various other "Men's Gifts", in case some of you want to check it out.

John, I'm glad you felt well enough to get out and get some goods. I'm praying for your family and all the illness!

Someone else (somewhere, perhaps Facebook and not TSD) said those Cremo sets with the brush were $10 now.

Happy Birthday, Brian! You certainly started it off with a beautiful razor and brush combo. I hope you're having a great time today with your Bride. Let us know what you pick up at Cabela's.

Awesome shave, Andrew. Your Doug Korn brush is huge! The Eventide scent sounds interesting. I'm glad you had plenty of time with your boys this week.

It's good to see Logan chilling and snacking after a busy week of Christmas festivities. He's patiently waiting for you to bring him a sippy cup. ;)

@mrchick loves Craftsman. His Bride sent him to the store for a screwdriver. He came home with this...

Perry, it looks like you had a great shave and a fun day with Wilson. Safe travels home for Alice. How is Martha?

Birthday lunch was fantastic Doug. We went to Good Word Brewing. It's speciality is craft beer and farm to table gastro pub food. I had a Trout Sandwich and 3 beers. :D

Many great shaves and posts today. I apologize for not commenting on each on individually.

@Linuxguile Andrew thank you for your TGIF post. It always brings a smile to my face. I really needed that just now.

Thank you, Charlie! Martha is doing better. She has had one or two surgeries each day since Christmas, but the surgeries are done for the time being. She is still sedated and intubated, but that will be weaned back soon. Alice felt good about her visit but at the same time felt there wasn't anything special for her to do and she didn't feel the need to linger. She can go back if anything changes or when Martha is more ready for and conscious for visits. Thanks for asking!

John, I'm glad you felt well enough to move around, shave, and get out of the house. Hopefully, Sherri and Faith are not far behind. The flu seems to be hitting hard this year.

Now I want to check out Target tomorrow. ;)

After very early morning shave at O Dark Thirty followed by a 12 hour day at the office, I am at last getting a chance to post today's shave. Knowing in advance today was going to be a rough one, I stayed with a tried and true setup. The DK7 was a joy to use face lathering the SV Felce. The OneBlade is stupid easy to use and really nailed it this morning. Two passes and touch ups ended in a BBS shave. I hope everyone had a great Friday.

That's a wonderful set up, Clint. The DK7 brush is stunning.

Hopefully, the madness at work will end soon. Do you have to work tomorrow? Hang in there, my friend.

Thank you Charlie. I will work about 4 or 5 hours tomorrow morning. Then my wife and I will be taking Asha out to an early dinner to celebrate her birthday. Tomorrow evening will be watching football games. Of course with Asha home Alabama will be must watch TV. Then back to work for 5-8 hours on Sunday as well. With luck the madness should be over by the end of next week.
