Friday's Shave Cold Water Wash Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #217 AutoStrop A1 Modified Gem CWR Aqua Velva My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop A1 Safety Razor with a Modified Gem SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sat 29th Dec Cyril Salter/ Maseto ED 2 Band La Toja Stick Alu Hawk + S/S Handle Schick Proline [ 8 ] La Toja A/S lotion Todays Shave proved to me that throwing money at Razors/ Soaps is not really necessary to get a good Shave. Using the inexpensive Hawk and a budget soap, by investing time and care into the Shave I not only enjoyed it, but was rewarded with a trouble free top quality finish. All the more remarkable was the fact that the blade on its 8th outing cleared my heavy growth with ease.
Picked up a Schick type L. Just got through cleaning it up yesterday. It was the Championship razor but the striping was all messed up. I scrapped the striping off and sanded the area where the striping was lightly. I then soaked the handle in Clorox to remove some staining and polished the head up. The little Schick cleaned up great for a cheap little razor. I like the razor better without the striping. Any suggestions on blades? I have never shaved with a injector razor. Thanks in advance for any help.
Check your local stores for Schick Injector Blades. Your local Drugstore's like Walgreens, CVS, or Rite Aid may have store branded Personnas. They are also available online through Amazon, Ebay, Ted Pella, and online drugstore websites. Your L- model injector looks great, I think you are going to like how it shaves. Also Andrews Shave Shop at Etsy has the Schick Proline B-20 blades...They work REALLY great in those L types for me. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Nice job on the cleaning. I find the L a bit mild for my tastes and have been meaning to try a Schick twin in it. They're available on Global Rakuten. If you do choose the Proline B, like @Bird Lives says they're excellent, you'll need an injector magazine, preferably with a blade still in it.
Ahh, machine translations are the best, aren't they? ●Because it is two pieces of blades, it is soft on skin, and sled taste is refreshing
Haha, I've never read the blurb, but remember: ●In addition, in the case of the exchange of the spare blade, please be careful not to damage a finger at the point of a sword enough.

Sun 30th Dec. Jayaruh No67 Tabac Stick Alu General with Claymore S/S Handle Schick Proline [ 7 ] Tabac A/S Lotion Though I like my heavier AC/SE Razors and generally heavier Razors anyway, I have more recently begun to get good Shaves with both the Alu Hawk & General now that they are paired up with S/S handles that seem to work well, I am avoiding using pressure on them during the Shave. Today I again used a Soap Stick , this time the Tabac which really does provide a great lather that allows the Razor to operate with ease. I was extremely pleased at not only the ease of Shave but the overall quality of finish is up there with the best.
