is there any difference between the 2 different pinaud clubman labeled a/s?

 

Boston is one of my favorite rock groups as well, Paul. I grew up with their music, and I still enjoy it. I keep the volume lower now, though.

Keep enjoying the Clubman, Paul. I may join you in using it a time or two next week. I'm a fan of Aramis, another old school scent, and it's known to have both its lovers and haters. Scents are very much a personal thing.

 

Favorite Boston song-Hitch A Ride.Fantastic guitar work finishes off that baby. Not far behind-Don't Look Back. Whatsamatter, your bride doesn't like 'em? I first learned about Aramis at my first college(1976). Never tried it though.

 

If it has to do with ice cream, I'm guilty as charged. I figure you'll have us back at the same Golden Corral next time, Neal. Nobody there seemed rattled when @Drygulch brought in his collection of straight razors, and about a dozen of us waved them around for the next two hours. Then nobody left when we all cracked open the containers of soap and aftershave to smell them. Either they've seen or smelled worse in that part of town, or they were just plain cool. As per the Cartel SOP, I'll call ahead to make sure the manager gets the ice cream machine going early that morning.

 

My Bride loves all kinds of 60s and 70s rock music, as well as Aramis. She's cool.

...but Clubman...not a fan.

i ve seen 2 different clubman labels for the original scent. 1 is light green? colored with a different shaped bottle..

I don't know this to be true but I think they are all the same just different sizes.

Exactly. The large bottle with the generic label is what they use in country clubs, barbershops, etc.

 

I've used both the original (6 oz. with the red-lettering)and the 16 with the green. I did notice a little difference on the 16.Not much, but it's there(the difference). I once read where the 12 oz. bottle is the one used in the many barbershops. That was interesting-why not use the original as well? The 16 would probably knock over a few barber tools(lol). While I enjoyed the tall one, I actually got rid of it before it was done, as I realized I missed the original.

 

You talkinabout the green 16 oz?

I'd like to get the 12 someday.

 

Gary, I like all kinds of music, but my favorites include The Beatles, Boston, Starship, Clapton, U2, Queen, Van Halen, Journey, Foreigner, Dire Straits, Eagles, and ZZ Top. My Bride likes these too, but her interests go back a little further...
