Doing well, about to crash.

For repainting the handle or the numbers? I once did a slim or something's numbers with model paint, then wipe it off where you don't want it, but I wouldn't recommend doing the handle. If you decide to do it, talk to Rick (blue monkey) I think he did it once. If you do any modifications please make sure you list them when selling the razor. Congratulations on fixing it! That is awesome!

 

I ate too much and farted excessively. That was my day today.

 

yeah, the handle...I don't plan on selling it, again, it was the main reason for my purchasing the bowl o' razors...so Rick, what's best, model paint? some kind of resin?
oh, and yes, if I ever get severe drain bamage and decide to sell it, I will mention it has been taken apart, and repainted, same as my Fatboy, and one of the slims I will be taking apart (that one I very well may sell).

I bought a '67 from Scotty that night. Close enough for my purposes. Next targets are the red tip and/or a fatboy.

did 3 loads of laundry, changed my sheets, washed my comforter and spent 20 minutes and at least 15 sheets of lint roll tape lint rolling it, took a shower and I have 9 AM class, time for bed.

 

Just glancing I see 3 feather weights. I need one of those. A valet auto strop I belive. a brass micro matic.. a couple of the ornate handle 1912's nice shavers all. Maybe a heavy brassed lather catcher of some kind down int the front right. not sure on that one. But would like to see it better.

there are a few there I would like to get to PIF if you want to sell a few to get some of your cash back.

Another Gem Q for ya Cal.... Are the handles on standard 1912s larger than the 1912 Travel handle? Are they interchangeable? Remember that $5 bent Ever Ready 1912 I found - it had a much larger handle than my Gem Travel (it may have even been a Gem, I can't fully remember right now...)...well, I was thinking of picking it up just for the handle...add a little weight to my 1912

The travel ones have shorter handles. I do not think that they interchange. Will check when i get home. I prefer the longer handle. you can prolly pick one up on the bay cheaper then what they were asking for the one you are looking at. If you want one let me know i will try to find one. I do not have an extra like that i want to get rid of right now.

Good morning everyone! Found a hidden pack of feathers this morning so I will give them another whirl and hope for the best. They worked good except for the inevitable weepers I would get. Going after the Noxzema again also. We will see how they work together. Will be in and out today. Looking for jobs again and a big surpise showed up on my background check that might result in someones head get ripped off. Surpises are always nice huh?
