My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 brush. I did two passes with the C.V. Heljestrand Safety Razor with a C.V. Heljestrand wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Good morning, Another Sunday passes by and this time it's great to be indoors because of the cold and snow up here in Northern Alberta.

Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (3)
Soap: Razorock Lavender
Brush: Razorock noir 400 Plissoft
Pre-shave: Shower
Post shave:Fine fresh Vetiver + witch hazel
Post shave: Nivea Balm

Nice setup Ron. I've been using my injectors lately but I may have to break out the Gem G-Bar this morning. The Gem SS blade has one shave on it so my shave ought to be comfortable and smooth. Stay warm up there buddy.

I really enjoy my RR Noir 400 and it's great for hard soaps also, I hope you enjoy it as much as I use mine.

 

I think I will. I got the one with the silver handle..... I would love to have a Rubberset 400 but they are out of my price range. The Razorock 400s are a great homage.

Feather Super in the SE1, so I figured I'd stick with a beard only shave and do the head shave with the Short Comb. The SE1 was just fine so equipped, and proved more efficient than the SC as I used it to do some pick ups on my head the SC left behind. Although the Asylum handle is heavier than the Halo, I prefer it among the three handles I've tried thus far

Thank you. It is a great complementary setup. Chatillon Lux's interpretation of the accord is quite different from Catie's Bubbles' Dranks, but they certainly complement each other.

 

Great photography, like the back drop of the woods. Shaving can be unique and is done every where and every place it seems.

 

Thank you, and yes sir, I live deep in the woods of East Texas. On cold dreary days such as these, the view would be considered creepy to some. For me, it just invites sitting on the porch with a Lagavulin and a blanket.

Yep!...So order some B-20s from Andrew's but order some other Blades aswell...Then you have variety and you can use the other injector blade dispenser.

The Chinese Schicks come in a great reusable despenser. The pro-line blades come in a dispenser that dosen't have a key, because those are made for Japanese Barbers to use in their shavettes.

But it is very easy to take a B-20 blade and carefully put it in the metal dispenser that does have a key and then just rack it into your Schick the normal way.

Just completed an AC/SE rotation with my newest the King Cobra. Of the ones I have this is the most aggressive so i have turned to the Kai blade. It might be me but I think you really have to contrite when using this Razor , especially when compared an Alu. General.
I was quite pleased to complete this Shave without mishap, and can say that this is probably the best quality all round finish that I have attained so far with the King Cobra.
