    December 31 - New Year's Eve

    Parker SRX
    Rapira Swedish Supersteel (1)
    30DC LE
    SC Love
    Alum, Thayers WH & USB

    This is the third shave of my shavette focus. I performed two passes with quite a bit more ATG action and touch ups. Other than a couple of small sit down errors, it was a nice shave. The Soap Commander lather was slick and abundant. I am finally getting the hang of using a synthetic brush. The alum was fairly quiet. Today is no scent Monday (except for the soap), since I'm off to see my kids at the hospital.

    I had one little nick on a finger tip due to inattention. Definitely my fault here and a good reminder to take extra care with the shavette.

    I hope everyone has a safe New Year's Eve and a Happy New Year!

    12/31/2018 - Last of the 30DC

    Oneblade Synthetic Brush – 20mm knot
    Palmolive Sensitive Shave Cream
    Salsa\Timeless bowl scuttle
    Rockwell 6S
    Voskhod Blades
    Nivea Men Sensitive Post Balm Shave
    Pinaud Clubman Aftershave Lotion

    Two passes with plate 6 and finished up with plate 3. Applied some Nivea and followed up a few minutes later with the Pinaud Clubman Aftershave from the Tabasco bottle.

    The 30dc has help with my technique and I feel I am getting better shaves because of it. I only broke the 30dc challege when I switch to the Oneblade synthetic brush and the one time I shaved with my new to me adjustable Executive. You cannot blame a man for doing that. Looking forward to next month so I can try out some new toys.:happy088:

    This has been a great 30 days for me and the shenigans have been fun.:duel:

    I hope everyone has a Happy New Year and many great shaves in 2019.

    Finiahing off 2018 and starting 2019 on a high note! Across the street we are doing Williams Week! Finally got up the courage to do the Injector! Boy oh boy is it a close comfortable shave! IMG_20181231_091318_622.jpg

    Better watch out! You might be like me and try an injector and never look back. Haven't used a DE in almost three years. Congrats on great progress and trying an injector for the first time!

    The LAST SHAVE OF THE YEAR was a memorable one. The Blackland Sabre, a modern GEM razor released in 2018, for me is a two pass wonder. Today was no exception. Nuavia soaps "pheromones of the gods", superlative lather, fast, thick, and slick. Cold River Soap Works - Juniper, one of their best aftershaves, followed by ADP Ginepro my personal fav. I am smooth, sweet smelling and ready to finish 2018. Happy New Year to TSD and the indomitable 30 Day Crew!
