For you car mechanic types: what would cause a gasoline smell coming into the passenger compartment?

 

Damn, I meant to cut the brakes lines!!!

 

Is it a gasoline smell or an exhaust smell.

Eating a parfait for breakfast wasn't my brightest idea this morning.

 

At first I thought it was more of an exhaust smell, but my wife seems to think it's gasoline. And now I'm kind of torn...

 

and that's why I proofread it and changed it to gasoline instead of gas before I posted it.

 

If exhaust you could have a plugged catyltic converter. If gas it could be a number of things. Are you getting any check engine codes? If so you could have a bad oxygen sensor which is making the car run to rich and thus producing the gas smell.

 

Well alrighty then.. kinda felt that way about getting outa bed.

no check engine lights or anything, and it seems to still be running fine.

I was just thinking about Italian made shaving stuff. It really is no suprise that they make some of the best shaving soaps and creams. I mean, just look at them!! You better have a damn good product to soften all that hair!!

 

Ahhh...nothing like dealing with screaming kids when they ain't yours.
