I went to consumer reports to check cameras, but of course you need to be a subscriber to get the best info needed.
Attention: Bakelite and OxyClean do not mix. Repeat, bakelite and OxyClean do not mix. OxyClean will ruin your bakelite. That is all.

I shook my booty, and this is what fell out........... 2 Gillette Super Speeds (NDC) 1 Gillette Tech (NDC) 1 Gillette FatBoy 1 NOS Gem Micromatic (my second one of these damn things) 3 Old Spice mugs All the razors cleaned up very nice except for one of the SS's. It will shave fine, but it's not pretty. All total I spent about $40. Truckman, good job getting the craigslist people down. Were they easy to deal with? You other guys are just frickin' weird. BTW, where the hell has JoAnna been? If she doing okay? JoAnna, if you are out there, please come visit. I miss you.
Nice score Rolls! You really need a camera though. All I got was some L Occitane Vetyver cologne. Damn jerky still isnt done. GF unplugged last night to plug the downstairs microwave in? Turned it back on this AM so its almost there.
Shawn, The last time I owned a camera it was used against me and I ended up in prison. I will never allow another in my home. Now you guys know why I do not do the whole camera thing. 'Nuff said, as they say. Oh yeah, I met some dude during my travels who was selling marbles. Little round marbles. He had a little display case with about a hundred of them. He offered me his whole collection for only $500!!! I just laughed and told him that he must have lost the important ones already................
Dayum! Nice score! Yeah, the Craigslist guy was easy to deal with. I met him at a Rutter's about 1/2 way between us. He handed me the stuff to look at and let me tell you, it was nasty! NASTY! Grungy, hairs...:sick007 Right off the bat he says, "I can go down to $20, since you rode all the way over here to meet me." I'm hem and haw, lay it on thick about how much cleaning they're going to need.... I ask if he'll take $15. Done deal. He also mentioned having 2 or 3 straights that he needed to dig out. I told him to email me with pics once he gets them. He apparently sells stuff at the flea markets a lot, so I'm sure I'll be getting more emails from him. They cleaned up beautifully, and I haven't even used any polish yet. I ruined the brush though - I put it in the pot w/ OxyClean I was using to soak the razors. OxyClean and bakelite do not work well together. I've got pics up in the Haul thread...I posted a link up above...
