That sounds good, Perry. I've heard Larceny is good, but I haven't tried it. I look forward to your thoughts on all the bourbons you taste. Weller is made just a few miles from my house, but you can't find it for sale anywhere. My neighbor picked up this bottle for me in Canada on a business trip. Blanton's is hard to find as well, but they stock the shelves one day at week with it at the Buffalo Trace distillery gift shop. It usually sells out in a day or two. I've only seen two bottles of it for sale anywhere else.

Wonderful shave, Clint. My friend in Wales would say Fab shave. :) I actually like the look of the OREN. As far as modern razors go, it seems like a very nice razor for the money. I'm glad you're finally having a lazy day...or two. Congrats on finishing up the big project at work. You definitely worked hard to get it done on time.

Congrats on getting the QShave, John! Great shave. I had one in my hand for a few moments before sending it on to @Spock. It came to me as a eBay purchase bonus, and I'm already well stocked with adjustable razors. It felt substantial in hand, and the fit and finish was very nice. I can also see why it is so popular.

I hope everyone in your family is finally well.

Maybe I'll have to begin paying attention to avocado salad dressings.

Beaudelaire is a favorite of mine. Rhapsody is nice. None of the others that I've tried really grabbed me.
But there are a lot of guys out there that want to have Will's baby.

Amen, Adam. I'm right there with you!

I had a blast searching for this photo. You have mentioned your Bride a lot over the course of the 30 DC. So many funny stories. Humor is a key part of a happy marriage, in my humble opinion.

If your Bride accompanies you to the meetup, please introduce me as Clint or Randy. I'm pretty sure the character named Charlie would be equivalent to Mud.

    2 down, 98 to go.

I got in in complete wtg(ish) pass today with the Ralf Aust. One tiny weeper, no big deal. Then I moved on to a Fatip Piccolo for the rest.

Lather today was Wickham's 1912 club cola. I think I failed to mention yesterday that I went with electric sheep for the first go. A decision I did not regret.

Thank you Charlie. I really like the OREN. It looks like the contract will continue for most of 2019 but now I’m free to begin changing the processes to improve efficiency.

Since you were discussing bourbon I’ve been sampling Bulleit which i believe is made near you. Maybe a bit more than sampling.

I'd eaten guacamole a few times over the years (and liked it), but I never ate an avocado until this past July. I now have one every day. I like the taste, and it is very filling. Some folks call it a super food because it contains the "good fats" and other nutrients. I'd eat more than one, but a medium size avocado has 240 calories. The only downside is that they ripen quickly. They're hard as a rock when you buy them. I leave them out on the counter until they just begin to soften, and then I store them in the fridge until they're used. I usually keep no more than a week's worth on hand. And oh yeah, they're great with your favorite salsa.

I've tried the Bulleit as well, Clint. Been to the distillery in Louisville too. Add that one to your list of things to do in Kentucky. :)

Great looking razor and congrats. When I seen it the first thing that came to my mind was Edgar Allen Poe.....The Pit and the Pendulum.

This has been a real hectic week and I had time to squeeze a shave in this morning after driving to the farm and helping my son put out a round bale for his horse. Then out the door the hospital. Mom has been in the hospital since Wednesday and I have been trying to keep up with you guys. Please forgive me if I fall behind and am not engaged as usual.

It was nice just to be able had have a quick relaxing shave this morning. It is amazing how a shave can help your day.

Stirling Noir shave soap & aftershave
    RazoRock 400 Synthetic Noir
    Astra blade
    Salsa bowl
    Schick Double edge razor
    Nivea post balm 20190105_112000.jpg

It was a nice, simple and effective shave. I am really enjoying the Stirling shave soap. It has been a while since I have shaved with the Schick but it is a wonderfull razor and probably does not get the credit it deserves. Two passes and then cleaned up a few areas on the neck.

I also learned this morning that my wife of 32 years slipped a little shave cream, brush and a salsa bowl to shave her legs last night. She uses carts and has tried de razors before but cut her legs up bad. She does like the lather. I guess my point of the story is that my den is not the sactuary I thought it was.

    Y'all take care.

I don't know if I can "hang" with y'all guys after what Natalia told me. I will try to keep the calender open and hopefully things will work out.
