I also agree that it is pretty tactless that Austin would slam your product over there and yet still make posts over here, keeping an eye on the members here. Whatever people do over there is an issue for B&B. To say that Rolls was a shill for TSD implies that there is some concerted effort by TSD to get guys to post over there after being banned. If some of the B&B mods over here (Austin, "Tony Shlongini") would look through the history of posts, they would see that, in fact, whenever some former B&B member posts some derogatory comment about B&B, the mods here always step in and ask that such posts not be made. They are very respectful of the other forums, and go out of their way to encourage TSD members to not make such comments.

You know what truly proves the class of this place? Even after all of this, I am willing to bet that people like Austin are still more than welcome to continue their membership here. However, it would be nice if they expanded their postings and participation to more than just "gotchas" and "ahas" in this thread, monitoring the activities of former B&B members.

Oh, and by the way, I was given a TSD Rose Essential oil soap by an extremely generous person over here, and it is a great soap! And $7? Are you kidding me? You get a lot of soap, and a nice container. And the scent selection (including multiple EO options) is amazing.

By the way, I'll also put a plug in for the AS splash. I bought a sample bottle of the Lime Ice with allantoin. Wonderful stuff! And the sample bottle is a very generous amount. I still haven't finished it. I am being tempted to get it in Vetiver. Does anybody know how closely it compares to QED vetiver? And has anybody tried it with menthol? I am intrigued by that combo.

I have the Vetiver AS coming in my current order so will post a review. Shep and Tracy had it but forgot their opinions on it. I love good vetiver! I will let you know as well as the entire board! I just got the L Occitane Vetyver and it is amazing!

Sorry but I have been using a wet shaving using a DE for over 15 years now. have used all the old AS and colognes as far back As I can remember. I have always been the old fashioned one... Even as the black sheep of the family as i was for quite a spell.

Vetiver is not for me. Shep and I were going to split it and I couldn't stand the scent of it. Vetiver isn't a scent for me.

 

Shep sent me a large sample of the Vetiver from TSD... I like it. It is my first TSD cream. Wonderful lather and that smell is nice to me. I usually use the Special Reserve as a AS with it. (yes i know you loath that stuff)

I went and read Rolls post cause it was quoted before deleted. That is a shame that they did that. He stated his preference, which is what we all do for each other. I changed my sig line over there for him.

Mmmm, I love the QED Vetiver, and if Joanna's smells like that, I might have to look into the possibility of getting a gallon or something! Anybody know of a good atomizer that would fit on a milk jug?:happy102

Seriously, though, Vetiver is not an every day thing for me - it is more of a mood thing. But it is wonderful! The QED Vetiver is a much different beast than the L'Occitane, Floris, or Guerlain. Much more raw, earthy, woodsy, smoky. Reminds me of a campfire.
