Not really. The picture is obviously staged to look like the stereotype of the south, but it looks more like upstate New York than Texas to me.

And for my 1000th post (nice factoid Jim): I have the TSD Vetyver AS w/ menthol. Me likey a lot. A nice woodsy, foresty, tall pine scent with a kick in the pants blast of chilliness. Be forewarned however it does stink in the bottle. You need to take the plunge and splash it on to enjoy it's aroma'ness. Good stuff. Don't know how it compares to QED as I've never used that.

Cleaned the Big Boy / Big Fellow I got off the bay a few minutes ago and found a lot more brass than I was hoping for, but for the price I paid, I am happy with just a shaver. I had never had one before. Wow, big heavy razors! Mine weighs 84 g!!! (compare to a 56g 40s style superspeed) I shaved with TSD soap cream today. I got a sample a while back, and I guess I was one of few who fell in love with it. I bought 3 tubs now. It is a hard cream, similar to Omega or Poraso soap. The stuff lathers so easily. I don't know if this is something that JoAnna is going to stock normally, but I absolutely love it. Tomorrow I plan to take the Connaught for a drive. I have so many new goodies to try, I love it! Shep, where did you get your larger medicine cabinet? I think it is time...

Rodd what is this soap cream you talk about. I read another member use those words and just thought it was a typo. Please do tell, I need more gear, I am down to 8 creams and 4 soaps. I have always wanted to try those.
