    Nice shave Gary.

The Luxor Pro gives great shaves . Makes a great travel razor too.

Thank you, Charlie! I dunno about advancing quickly. They're coming along, and there hasn't been much blood donated to the shave gods. I can live with that. :)
Shaving the back of the neck isn't nearly as tough as it sounds. I did get the razor at a bad angle once, which caused the cut. Most likely, I should've switched hands. With DE, I shave the back of my neck every couple of days. I think this is the first time there's been a mishap.

That would be cool to paint the lettering! Either that, or send it to Danny and have him bead blast it. Hmmm.....:signs002:

    Razor: IBC/Rex Ambassador (3)
    Blade: Schick Proline B-20 (4)/Permasharp (2)
    Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: PAA Sandalwood
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: Proraso Lozione

    Good morning!

Three pass BBS shave. Pass one with the IBC. No blood loss and near silent alum. The shavette felt more comfortable in hand today, maybe by this weekend I'll be confident enough to do a full shave with the IBC.

    Have a great day! [IMG]

    Letter C

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick H1
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
Soap: Country Club for Men Cahaba Blues
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave

Easy shave with the Hussy this morning. Smooth after one pass even though the razor feels mild. Did two passes as usual and quite happy with the results. This razor looks strange but I've never been disappointed with it. Terrific lather from my last letter C software (skip to letter F tomorrow for First Canadian Maximo Gomez) and a wonderful finish from the Jeeves splash. I will definitely buy more of this splash when the time comes.

    Have a great day!

Hendrix BBQ and reclining seats at the movies...I wouldn't have made it through the whole movie without falling asleep with my belly full of BBQ goodness. I hope you both had a great time. Sounds like fun.

You point out an interesting feature on Luxor Pro, Neal. If the blade holder covers the corner of the blade, that would be a distinct advantage over the Parker SRX. I really have to pay attention to keep the blade edge from nicking or scratching my skin while shaving with the SRX.

I have to admit that I had to do some googling to see what an Excelia was. The name sounds like it should either be a car or some kind of medication.

Now I just need to figure out what "sodium hypochlorite" is since, apparently, you shouldn't use it to disinfect an Excelia.

Variety is what makes this hobby so enjoyable. If it weren't for trying other products out, just for fun and curiosity, I'd be perfectly fine with nothing but Stirling soaps and aftershaves. :)
