Thank you, Jim! I took this weeks pictures on Sunday. The IBC isn't in the pictures because I wasn't planning on using it. It's a game time decision each day.

Wonderful picture, Jim! I have the Wholly Kaw King of Bourbon myself. I haven't used it yet. The W's are still a ways off.

Great shave, Perry! The Schick H1 really grabbed my attention, so I looked it up here: http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schicktech.htm I'm not a Schick user, so I get lost in all the different models. This website will be a handy resource for me.

I look forward to your thoughts tomorrow on the First Canadian soap. I know this is a @jtspartan favorite. The scent profile on this one sounds interesting for sure.

Sorry about the outcome of the bowl game. I'm not a football or Alabama fan, but my Dad hailed from Alabama. If I was into football, Alabama would be my team. They have such a rich and successful history. I graduated from Louisville, so I have been desensitized to home team losses. :)

Have a great day, and let us know if your kids play some ZZ Top (use Stirling Sharp Dressed Man) or Pink Floyd (use Williams since it is like Another Brick in the Wall) tunes this year. I may have to come down and hear them play.

Thank you, Charlie! Yeah, the championship game was a bummer, but they had an amazing season and are loaded for bear, so it's not the end of their success. Bama will be back and probably play Clemson again!

Things are returning to more of a normal routine. At least until tax season gets into full swing. @PLAla Perry graciously sent me the Speick shave stick over the holidays. This morning seemed like the perfect time to give it a try. Once applied the soap was easy to lather and provided very good slickness. I don't think the scent was a strong as the cream. Next time I need to rub on a little more soap before lathering but it always takes me time to dial in a shave stick. Perry thank you for the soap and cream. I will get a lot of enjoyment out of them both. Three passes and touch ups ended just short of a perfect shave. A splash of Antesol and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Next up for my focus on some of my underused razors, the E2. Today’s Jeeves product is the Apothecary soap. Face lathered a fantastic, albeit not overpoweringly scented lather. Pleasant scent, just not strong. I hadn’t used Injectors too much lately- Open Comb October followed by No repeat November followed by DEcember has meant they’ve all been underused. That’s a mistake. 3 passes, with a little touch up around my mouth and I am completely smooth. Finished with the ‘nice enough’ Polar Ice and I am off to start my day early.
    Have a great day all!

Sounds like you are progressing well with the Shavette, Jim! You’ll have that mastered in no time.
Awesome combo today, Perry! The Tobacco Bay Leaf is a great product.
Great photo effect, Jim. Sounds like a great start to the day.
Glad to hear things are slowing down a bit, Clint. Sounds like a very nice gift from Perry!

RazoRock What the Puck – Barbershop Scent
    Voshkod blade
Yaqi Mellon Head on a Weber Bulldog Handle
    Pinuad Clubman Classic

The Yaqi/Weber Bulldog combo completed an awesome shave this morning. No weepers or nicks. Just a nice comfortable shave with no alum burn. I completed two passes and cleaned up a few areas on the neck. This combo is almost as smooth as if not as smooth as the Rockwell 6S.

First time using Razorock soap. It performed great and I just need to dial it in a little. Picked some up on the damp Razorock 400 and whipped it up in the salsa bowl.

Finished up with some Alum and Clubman classic. I forgot the Nivea this morning.

Y'all take care and have a great Tuesday!

I moved to the Stoylin "Pro-Handle" brush for this morning's shave-another round with the Central Texas Soaps' Grandpa's Barbershop. This puck is listed as 5 oz., but I wonder if most of that 5 comes from the bottom as you approach the Bentonite Clay. A fine shave nonetheless. I worked on my "focus" of using less water on the brush.
