    Good morning!
    I just completed my 5th shave for this month and my 30th overall with my Dovo shavette. Here is my set-up that have used from the start and will continue until the end of the month:
    Dovo Shavette
    Noxema Cleansing Cream
    VanDerHagen Luxury Soap
    Semogue OC Finest Badger
    Modesa WitchHazel
    Pinaud Clubman AS

    This is only the second time that I have used the Dovo long blade with this shavette. On my two day growth, I only needed two passes that were WTG and ATG with minor touch-ups. Truth be told, I could have just have kept it to one pass and it would have been a DFS. I have to say these last 2 shaves with my Dovo shavette have been wonderful. I am loving this razor! Best shave for the month
    Today's Shave Rating:
    BBS w/o any nicks or irritation.
    Grade 97 = A+

    I think the clay is pretty well mixed into the soap, Paul. Plus it's probably less then 2% of the total composition.

    The edge cover does indeed eliminate some of the danger. But where is the excitement in that? I have one that I rarely use if you would like to give one a try.

    Very nice Danny! I find I can do a lot of buffing with the SLOC head!
    Glad to hear you are getting along with the DOVO well, are the long DOVO blades Hair Shaper blades?

    No, it's Dovo's long blade for the black insert. The green insert would be for Personna hairshaper blades. Dovo doesn't make the green inserts, however, you can still buy them on the internet.

    O.K. This may open up a can of worms but what is "molesting" the Williams Mug Soap? That terms gets throwed out there a lot.

    Blooming it, grating it, making fun of it, etc. Doing anything other than leaving Williams in its original shape and form. I, for one, guess I'm guilty because I grated it into a container and always bloomed it. Or soused it. We have used the term souse to replace bloom. Epic, harmless debate a while back. You've figured out by now we ain't right.
