Spanish Seygus will introduce a new type of DE razor: the Zeppelin.

Today I received the pictures of the first 3 production models:

]osé Antonio and Gustavo produce the razor head only - a handle should be supplied separately.

One of the razor heads will be sent to me - I have the honour to test it, and of course promote it a bit:

The 2 sides are different - one side has a bigger blade gap.
In order to distinguish the 2 sides one of the sides is scalloped, the other is not.

As soon as "my" Zeppelin has arrived I will test it - more news later ... ;-)

I'm amusing the 316L is the Stainless Steel. Will the handle also be Stainless Steel? Any idea on the target price point?

Gotcha, so the 'Buyer' must supply the handle separately... Would be nice to have handle options, in order to get it as a complete Razor

Where can you buy seygus razors?

I only see them listed on Geo Fatboy's store. Are they available somewhere in Europe?

First shave with the Seygus Zeppelin.
The short sides of the blade do not protrude, which is very pleasant when changing the blade.
Today only the "mild" side of the razor used - particularly comfortable with a nice smooth result.

Can we get some comparisons?? How mild? How efficient?

Have shaved only once with the "mild" side - so there is nothing to compare with ... yet ... :)

Uh you've never used another razor ? I think that's the useful comparison.

Sorry ... think I misunderstood ... the "mild" side of this razor (Seygus Zeppelin) is comparable to:
    - other Seygus razors
    - vintage Gillette NEW razors
    - Timeless razors OC 0.68
    - Rockwell razors plate R4 an R5
    - etc.
No figures/comparisons between sides of Seygus Zeppelin sides available - that is what I meant ...

Used the "aggressive" side of the Zeppelin today.
Just as comfortable as the "mild" side - a little bit more effective, I think (will notice tomorrow morning).
    Smooth ...

Used the "aggressive" side of the Zeppelin once more.
Used the "aggressive" side yesterday as well - appears to be a bit more effective.
Again a comfortable shave with a smooth result.

    Oatcake "Overgrowth" shaving soap (sample).
Seygus "Zeppelin" / Stork "Taipan" handle.
    Kai Stainless (4).
    Wars "Classic" EdC.

Shave with the "aggressive" side (gap 0.5 mm) of the razor:
This side is not aggressive at all - shaves very comfortably - no risk of damage, one doesn't feel the blade.
Result: Nice & smooth --> DFS+ == between DFS and BBS (BBS is unrealistic).
