I saw these razor sets on sale today at Walgreens Drug Store. Pretty good deal, IMO, but sad to see them on clearance.
Altho I've not used this particular razor, I was going to make the same point. Even if only as a travel razor, you can't beat the price. Then, if it's lost or dammaged in travel, one of your good razors isn't sacrificed.
This is a Weishi razor and what got me back into DE shaving 5 years ago. I still use it occasionally. Buy one.
If you have an experienced super speed to use as a travel razor, then I would give it a pass. Otherwise, if you want another razor grab it.
Easy. Just because it is inexpensive doesn't mean that something is a good deal. If you have a box of razors not being used, figure out how many hours you had to work to have them. If they aren't being used then why waste the money. I have plenty of razors that I use and don't need another. If you want one or can use it, then sure it could be a good deal. For me, it is not.
I'm keeping it and the '32 Tech using the Deluxe's handle on both. Everything else can go...probably.
hmmmmmm ......................... Nahhhhhhh don't think so, my Krona's better and can be had for less.
It is always a good idea to have an inexpensive razor when you travel because if you lose it or break it, then the financial loss is minimal. However, if you already have a cheapie, then save your money to get something else.
It's what I started Vintage Shaving with. It makes a good starter razor, travel razor, or gift razor. But, to have for a collection, no. Too many better Vintage DE razors out there, for the same price.
