Did you do a side by side sniff test? I don't find them similar at all. The EL is much more acrid to my nose, whereas the OS is smoooooooth.
Great photo and report Perry. I hope the fall semester has started off well for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I know you won't be using it as drain cleaner again. But, she did say not to bring it on the property again. That rules out using it to kill weeds too.
I'm not positive about this, but I think those blades are towards the end of the carbon era. I am guessing you may be in for a rough shave...
Fantastic photo and setup, Perry! For me, the $19.99 isn't the sticking point. I think his soaps are great, and worth that price. It's the $7.40 shipping charge for a single tub. I don't expect any vendor to eat shipping, or lose money on it. It would be great if WCS or Maggard's would carry his line. Not only would that drop the shipping charge to either nothing, or a lot less - it would probably give his products a little more exposure as well.
January 10th Razor: IBC/Rex Ambassador (6.5) Blade: Schick Proline B-20 (6)/Permasharp (4) Brush: PAA Green Ray Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: PAA Will-o'-the-wisp PAA Star Jelly unscented AS: PAA Will-o'-the-wisp Good morning! I'm trying to catch up this morning. You fellas have been busy! Two passes with the IBC left me with a SAS. Blood and irritation free. I did finish with the Rex. My confidence is growing daily which helps. I'm sure the shavette will let me know when I've reached the level of overconfidence, which is a ways off. I'm still pretty tentative. Have a great day, gentlemen! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
That’s true. I want to keep all my body parts so it needs to stay away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wow! Whatta photo, Jim!! Two passes with the IBC?? Congrats! You're making some headway, sir. Great job!
Love the colors in the photo Jim. PAA always has such colorful labels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
January 10, 2019 OREN 2 Dot Plate Feather Professional SOC Taj Mistura C&S Oxford and Cambridge Fine Lavender Aftershave I am moving a little slow this morning. Now that the consulting gig is back to a more normal routine, I get to work at my office a couple of days a week at least which makes me more relaxed in general. In the continued effort to use up some soaps, I went with the C&S Oxford and Cambridge. The SOC mixed knot has turned into one of my favorite brushes with its firm backbone and soft tips. Three passes had the baby in sight so I got aggressive buffing on my lower neck. While I caught the baby the aftershave was hot. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
Thank you, Clint! It's been busy so far but a good start. Already back in school a week at this point. Time flies! Thank you, Bruce! You have a fair point on the shipping. Didn't think about that. I also think you're correct about having his products at Maggards or somewhere similar. Wonderful photo, Jim! Still on letter P, I see. You've got lots of PAA products. I'll be stuck on letter S for quite a while with Speick, Soap Commander, Stirling, etc. Terrific photo and shave, Clint!
Jeeves is certainly high quality stuff. Both the soap and the aftershave perform very well. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
