Thanks, Jason! I agree it's cool to have a limited edition soap commemorating the 30 day crew. It's even better that the scent is terrific and the performance is wonderful.
Green tobacco scent. Verdant, fairly pungent scent if I recall. Very close to RazoRock's Zi'Peppino scent.
Maybe he has his reasons for not doing so, but I'd love to see him offering his products through WCS and/or Maggard's. I'm certainly not bashing the guy, or his products when I mention the shipping price on top of the $20 soap. His soap is top-tier, and I'd love to see him succeed. From a consumer standpoint, we're so used to getting "free" shipping and having it in our mailbox almost immediately. For the new wet shavers out there, they're most likely to hit one of the "big boys" such as WCS or Maggard's to get their setups. While we may pimp certain products/vendors in the 30DC - or TSD in general, we're just a small group. Someone just getting into wet shaving very well may not stop here and read what products we like. You gotta get your brand out there. Heck, even McDonalds still advertises like crazy, even though they're uber-successful. As much as I'd like to think there's a place at the table for every artisan soap maker, that might not be a reality. There are so many - both good and bad - and it's still a bit of a niche market. I believe I just saw recently that the lady who makes Oleo soaps is seeking advice on branding her products, and they're already carried by a bunch of different places. It's gotta be a tough market. Add to that, we're a fickle bunch - always trying something different for the sake of variety.
Another great shave and photo Bruce. Congrats on the break through. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you Jason. My dad remembered matching benches from his childhood. Unfortunately they didn’t make down to my generation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
