I just thought of a marketing angle for home soap makers...tobacco scent, distributed in recycled (thoroughly cleaned) dip cans (the plastic kind)
    waddaya think?

    True, good point.

I have 2 black labs. They both weigh in at about 90 pounds. They eat and lot and thus produce massive amounts of gas. Not pleasant at all.

You can buy unused plastic dip cans. I use them for the big name soap samples I sell in the store.

Bet some guys get some odd looks from their wives when they see those. :happy102

The containers are pretty small for lathering purposes though.

    nice!
it could come in "shredded" form, so you take a pinch out to throw in your lather bowl
or, you could do it yourself I reckon

I figured they would be, but I wasn't sure
yeah, they'd be perfect trial size, or travel for that matter,

That is interesting. I would think it would be cheaper for the tobacco companies to just use the dip cans themselves. Are they reject cans or they just don't get used.

    Left pocket chew.

Right pocket shaving soap in chew can.:happy102

Ummm......I buy them from container vendors. Container companies make them, not tobacco companies. And the containers do have other uses, ya know. Ever seen the shredded beef jerky in convenience stores in the little plastic cans, like dip?

Mornin'. I agree. Let's shoot for a less stressful day in here. Anyone else have the Roku VOD box to watch streamed movies from Netflix on your TV? They recently did a software upgrade to allow for HD content and it's hosed everything up. They had a perfectly simple and elegant box that did exactly what it was supposed to and then mucked it all up. Don't they do testing before rolling out upgrades? I've checked the Roku forums home page and there are hundreds or thousands of others experiencing the same problem. Basically the bit rate is being throttled back for some reason even though internet speeds are fine. The result is content has basically VCR or analog TV quality viewing. Plus they tend to rebuffer during viewing. This is not what we paid for. Anyway I'm wondering if anyone else in here has the box and has been having trouble. Apparently not everyone is.

Maybe they own the container companies. ;)

    Morning Tracy, Jim, Shep, JoAnna.

There you go. Learn a new thing every day. I don't know why I was thinking the street view shots were taken with satellites - I'm quite aware that they can't get that sort of angle on a shot.

Oh well. Everyone is dumb sometimes. At least my momma thinks I'm special.

    But anyway... LARP!!!!

It's some good stuff. I used to shun face lathering and now almost always face lather.

Bad doggie breath is pretty awful, too.

Less stressful day in here sounds great. Not a Roku box user, so can't provide any input on that, Shep.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing technical difficulties. Rinse, wash, repeat.

If it's as widespread a problem as you've indicated, they'll probably address it soon. Hopefully.

    Morning Dom and Shep.

Really enjoyed the face lathering Dom. Seems like the correct thing to do because you don't waste all of that lathering in a bowl. Instead you get the benefit of really working the lather into your face.

The one thing I dislike about face lathering is that the lather doesn't stay warm.

    I'm brilliant like that.
