I just use a lighter to heat it up. Works great and now I have a 48mm loft instead of a 56mm

Hey all, good morning.

No school today, so wifey and the kids are home with me. A couple of inches of snow overnight which then turned to freezing rain. The first decent snow this year and the kids can't even play in it because it's covered with about 1/4" of ice.

So much for going out to the antique store to get some pics....oh well.

Man, things have been tense around these parts lately, huh? Between the B&B TSD Soap thing and Cal's ebay sniper thing....

Like Shawn said, we all need to sit around a campfire singing Bohemian Rhapsody and eating rolls' moldy bread...

 

What is LARPing?

 

I use a dip chiller/warmer. It's got a big mug/bowl for the hot water, and a separate small bowl that sits on top. the small bowl warms up and keeps the brush warm. There's a little lather dissipation (I use almost-boiling hot water), but it doesn't affect it once I start working the brush on my face...

 

I never have seen gattos pic despite her repeated promises to get one up. She's such a tease!

set the brush in the bowl you'd normally use for lathering, set bowl in sink of hot water you'd use for rinsing razor anyway...easy scuttle

I can show you a nice succulent leg of lamb. I'll even post pictures of me eating it. But none for you.

 

That's how I do it with creams.... I was looking at scuttles online one day and SWMBO asked what they were. After I explained it to her, she went rummaging in the kitchen and came up with the dip chiller. I think she just didn't want me spending more money But it works great. I think no matter what you do the brush will cool while you're using it. But it warms back up when you put it back in the bowl/scuttle/etc...

 

Its bright, sunny and 36 degrees. Joy.
