Face wash with warm water.Loaded up the Avon Gentlemans Regiment brush and did a n-s,diagonal and a touchup.I have to say this was one of the roughest shaves I've had in a while.The wilkinson blade is only 2-3 shaves old but acted like it was 6-7 old.Ended up with a SAS and some red splotches.So I did a cool water rinse and applied some Polo Club Rogue balm and sprayed a bit on .Then headed out to meet the wife and a coworker for lunch.Rogue is a cheap scent but is probably the best out of the Polo Club range,green coniferous and sharp going on ,drying down to dry green scent.Not too bad.

the brush is Yaqi and also the DE - probably 30 bucks total for both... gotta say the brush is really awesoe - long handle and a synth knot that is sweet. I also got a brush with a rainbow type handle and faux horse knot from yaqi - but I misplaced the darn thing inside my house!!! I hate when I hide stuff on my self - I also lost some over the ear Bose headphones - again there in my house and I put it in such a safe spot I cant even find it ...

Like you Tim - Stephans was my FAVORITE bay rum aftershave until PAA Atomic - My barber of the last 9 years used Clubman or Stephan Bay - I already loved clubman and my other backup barber already turned me on to OSAGE (he would massage it in the scalp BEFORE cutting and than would rub it on my neck after a he would shave it with a shavette)... But I will never forget the first time I smelled and used stephens bay - I loved it!!!! but I hated the fact it had no longevity ... PAA Atomic is a different scent - but more importantly lasts ALL FRIGGIN day - haha

 

Thanks Joseph. It's an amazing knot, perhaps my favorite Paladin.

2. Vintage (I think late 90s?) Williams Menthol Mug Soap.(I made the mug with the PRIME Photos store, just pics I took of the 2 types of menthol Williams I own)
3. SEMOGUE 1350 Boar.
4. Schick Type J Injector.
5. Vintage Personna II twin blade (2)
6. Thayers Medicated Witch Hazel.
7. Aqua Velva Original "Sport Cologne", I think this is discontinued.
8. Aqua Velva After shave balm.

Well, I've tried to earmark some Fridays for sampling new scents. But I never had a shave set for this day. Until now. This is the stuff I will use on Sample Friday, at least for the time being. True to my word I acquired some 'afta' lotion. I like the short-lived scent. I'm trying to get rid of/use up the Merkur blades, and the Edwin Jagger shaves well with nearly everything, so that will be the blade of choice.
