Homemade brush with I think a TGN finest

Nice shave today. Getting near the end of the Xpec, it was fun but I don't think I'll reorder. Have a good one.

 

A Filly 14 DT was up to bat this morning, soap was MdC original lavender in ‘brain bowl’ (bol à bois) lathered with a Tulip 2. AS was Thayers lavender and a splash of Mont St Michel Naturelle Classique topped it off. I’m smelling traditionally French this morning. In a good way lol.

Excellent shave, with an American Made razor. Smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues. Fine shaving razor.

13/16 Le Jaguar full hollow had the honors for another lavender day. Cream was Musgo Real lavender (very nice lavender) lathered with a 2-band from Scott Lockwood and topped off with Thayers lavender. A tiny, tiny bit of Crabtree and Evelyn lavender toilet water added a little lasting zest.

The old C&E toilet water in the heart-shaped bottle is good stuff, and in spite of the toilet water (EdT) name, it’s full perfume strength juice. If you used 1/4 teaspoon of this stuff, you’d fumigate very room you entered! I usually just put my fingertip over the opening, closing it off, and what little hits my fingertip through the orfice is more than enough. Extremely potent stuff, but a lovely lavender fragrance.

M Martinez Karasu 9/8 near wedge. I took this monster to my Shapton Glass 16k and the edge is very nice now. Still working on how to wield this monster but had a nice shave today.
