The stink issue is the body oil of a mature hog. Try and use a simple soap like ivory or similar, or a surfactant/detergent like liquid dish or laundry soap.

It's hard to remove oil with oil. You need simple soap to chemically destroy the oil so it might be rinsed away. Stripping the bristles of oil will also encourage split ends, which is where the awesome starts on boar brushes.

Cartel VP of Engineering Charlie "Danger" @wristwatchb can probably be goaded into a dissertation by this post.

 

Chris, It may be to early to bring the "Cartel" into Rob's world. Remember he has one wet shave under his belt.
