Thanks, Terry! I won't be diving in head first. A straight shave every now and then and I'll build my skills and confidence little by little.

How is the knot in that brush, Jim? I hadn’t used one of those Maggard’s knots when I put that one in.
Congrats on the very good start, Joseph. Did you get stones and a strop as well?
    Super score, Danny!

O.K. Perry is going for the Piggly Wiggly avatar...............interesting.

    The Original American Super Market
Piggly Wiggly was founded in 1916 in Memphis, Tennessee, by the late Clarence Saunders. Saunders virtually invented the supermarket. A flamboyant figure, Saunders put existing practices and techniques together, systemizing them into the original self-service grocery store. Saunders’ stores astounded the food industry: shopping baskets- and no clerks to wait on customers- it was unheard of!
The format of all modern supermarkets is based on the Piggly Wiggly plan of self-service. All good things that come to American shoppers were brought to them first by Piggly Wiggly

    • First to sell foods by the self-service supermarket system which is originated in 1916
    • First to provide shopping baskets and check-outs stands.
    • First to price mark every item in a food store.
    • First to give shoppers more for the food dollar through high volume/low profit margin retailing.
    • First to use refrigerated cases to keep perishables fresher longer.
    • First to requre employee uniforms.
    • First to design and use patented fixtures and equipment throughout the store.
    • First to franchise independent grocers to operate under the self-service method of food merchandising.
    PIGGLY WIGGLY- UNUSUAL NAME
Clarence Saunders would never elaborate on the orgin of the Piggly Wiggly name. When approached on the matter, he’d answer, “I named it that so people like you would ask me just that question.” And, since 1916, the name as been recognized and remembered all over the world.

OK, NOW, things are coming together here!!!! Well, what do I know, I'm just a Stoylin shaver from Massachusetts. There's a PW avatar???? I like the "vintage" aspect of the place.

Exactly, Perry! Looks like a nice town. Has similarities to Acton(my town here in Massy-chew-setts). And there's the PW!!!

The Pig is an institution! Got to give them a little love in here with @wristwatchb and @Paul Turner discussing the ladies of the store coming up to sniff the men. It would probably did happen at a Pig, somewhere, sometime. Let's give them some praise!

Wilson loves the Piggly Wiggly logo. When he sees a Pig truck on the road he always comments "there's a Pigg(uh)ly Wigg(uh)ly truck!". How can I not support them through my avatar with that kind of recognition from a 4-year old? ;)

Glad to hear you got some rest, Clint. Very nice B&W as well!
Another successful straight shave! Love the GIT scent, Perry. How is the Irish Traveller compared to SDM?
I hear you, Terry. I dislike it when I get interrupted shaving as well, and usually it doesn’t end well.

Maybe that lady who sniffed my Clubman is related to a Piggly Wiggly frequent consumer.
