Here is #338 all finished up. I put the Omega 49 boar knot in it. It finished off at 102g. I am in the process or redoing #339 since I blew out the side when I tried to drill out the middle. OOPS! More on that one later.
Behind the scenes. Harvesting an Omega 49 Knot for Jayaruh #339 I show how I harvested two knots from Omega 49 brushes. I also show Jayaruh #339 after I finished shaping it, sealing and staining it, and dry fitting it with the Omega 49 boar.
I finished the handle with a golden pecan (for @richgem) stain/sealer followed by two coats of polycrylic.
Here's JR-338 with a Maggard's 70/30 Badger/Boar knot installed. I just recieved it the other day and it looks great, and feels good in my hand. Jim did some really nice work on my brush. Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk
