I just kinda figure it's part of the game.
When I hit my thumb with a hammer while building a barn, wasn't a set back to me. I just thought it's time to learn to keep my d*m thumb outa the way from now on!

was the first purchase of non drug store aftershave at a shop called Masc in vancouver.. 1-1/2 years ago. it has no real fragrance so its good for late evening shaves.. fantastic face healing properties..like witch hazel..

I would mention Cella as a great soap for anyone, newbie to veteran. Also TOBS creams.

It's all about perspective!

 

It's safe, I think, to say I've tried a few razors over time. I've shaved with all of them. And a couple more that weren't around yet for the photo, and a handful more that had already moved on to other homes. But in that process I've learned that there are attributes that I prefer in a razor, and I've started seeking those attributes. I've not made many new purchases in the last year+ because I'm devoting more time to the razors in my collection that I really enjoy. It's a conscious choice to go deeper, not wider.

Thanks for bringing that Danny. Had a discussion with my daughter this morning about the very same commercial. She's of an age where The Hollywood Machine is less influential. Having her own children has opened her eyes to traditional Adult concepts.

There you go, Charlie! Perfect rebuttal to an agenda that's not helping fix the problem. You saved me making the argument, and it very much covered most of the points daughter and I agree about.

I'll agree with this one especially for the What The Puck line. I wasn't impressed with the label and idea of a slightly off color joke in the title. After trying the Lime Burst scent, I'd like to get the other two. It's hard Italian soap but I don't think that would stop a Newbie from getting good lathers. Plenty of strong flavor off the puck and in the face to impress someone coming off canned gels. It's also priced low enough to make it affordable as a gift to get someone going. Pair it with a slightly broken in boar brush for a great lather!
