Thanks Rick. I'm glad to hear about your family discussions. Two quick stories...(1) I remember showing a gal who had inherited some old razors The Shave Den forum on my computer, and she laughed when she spotted the What Manly Things Did You Do Today? thread. (2) A friend recently held the door at a restaurant for a lady as they were both walking in, and this seemed to offend her. They were not together. He was just being polite. Before he left, he arranged with his server to anonymously pay for her lunch.

Like you, I'm doing my best to buck societal trends. That's a nice way of saying that our society is losing its collective mind, and please count me out. <off the soap box now> Check out the other Prager University vids...you might like them.

I agree, Paul. I love freshly sliced watermelon with salt. In my book, half a big watermelon counts as one slice.

 

Mail call!! A couple of things showed up today. First of all - I had run out - but now I'm reloaded!!

I couldn't go another day without the refreshing scent of the Mighty Veg in my den! I do have Stirling Bonaparte soap and splash which is close so I should be set now. It's good to be chosen.

Second item that I'm very stoked about, especially when I checked it out I'm revealing a bit later but only because I want to see if anyone can tell by the following picture what is inside.

There's one person here who I'm fairly sure will recognize that. Potentially a few more so I'm going to give the Fuzzmeister @wchnu and his boys from across the street a shot at telling you what you'll see inside. I'll open it up later when I report on my shave!

One more package on the way with a pretty interesting item as well, though I don't think I'll be able to actually shave with it. More on that later.

Well, the case is too small for a leg lamp, but most of us already have one of those. I'll review past episodes of Antiques Roadshow, Pawn Stars, Sanford & Son, and Storage Wars for clues. Back in 10...

I like the look of that DE, I too use a cart for a while on the gord. Once I went to a DE for the head shave, the shave got better.

I never thought about us a toxic bunch of men, but then again some of us shave with twigs and others just tape the blade to their fingers.

There are good men and bad men, there also good women and bad women. Anyone who thinks women who are not aggressive, ambitious and combative has never met a middle-aged woman in Korea, they are referred to as ajumas. Come to think of it I remember some women in America who also had these traits, it does not make them good or bad. Crazy times we live in.

My woman is aggressive, ambitious and combative, but I do not know anyone who has more to help others. No one would ever describe her as masculine.

Hump Day Shave:

Keeping with the weeks full hollow German steel is a Revisor with lots of bling. Revisiting Mike's soap and it reminded me why it was put in the penalty box, it was very finicky today. I added to much water and it just completely disappeared so I just went from the puck to my face each pass, despite the struggle I was able to pull off an epic shave. I am not sure if I want to keep fighting to maintain a good lather so this may or get may not get another shot tomorrow.
