It's awesome. Seems like it's got the general precision of a mold-created item, but seems to be made by hand at the same time. It has a good amount of surface area to build lather without losing any suds over the lip. Super easy to fluff up lather in this thing.

 

This one I'm wearing tomorrow (PAA Atomic Age) is actually my favorite Bay Rum. There are many different kinds out there. Thankfully, most are really cheap, so you can order at least 5 different kinds of the most popular and decide for yourself. My previous favorite was C.O. Bigelow No. 32 bay rum, but it could cloy at times and is only suitable for very cold weather. PAA's Atomic Age Bay Rum isn't cloying and works even in warm weather okay. Previously Bay Rum was strictly a 'cold season' scent but PAA's Atomic Age broke out of that designation. Gaebels Bay Rum is nice, as is Stephan Bay Rum and even Pinaud's Virgin Island Bay Rum. All solid. There are Bay Rums with lime or coconut too and even leather notes. Bay Rum has quite a variety.

 

The GP stopper and finish are aluring but it sure does work. Glad to hear you are enjoying as well.

*) This shaving soap is, according to its creator, one of the test batches - it is a version of his "Iced Tea" scent.
It smells like tea indeed and something fresh. Nice soap with a pleasant scent.

Wow. Thank you. I was underwhelmed by the pic, myself. I've been pretty busy lately, so the muse hasn't really been there. I felt this was just my usual pattern pic (dark background, shadows, showcase the pretty shiny razor, etc.) I'm pleased it turned out different enough to grab some attention.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Catie’s Bubbles La Terre Verte today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new ASCO Super Stainles Red Box in the Gillette Red Tip Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Executive Man aftershave.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #327 brush. I did two passes with the Henckels razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Stetson AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
