I don't know how you guys who wet shave do it at a sink...

When using carts, shower shaving was OK because I didn't have to lather between passes, just used bar soap. But it would be kind of hard doing my shave routine in a shower, especially if I dropped a razor. I just take my time and enjoy it and it usually takes 10-12 minutes for a shave, 15 tops.

I always shaved my face at the sink, never the shower. I have shaved my head in the shower, but I prefer doing it at the sink as well. I mostly use a straight or a shavette to shave, so it is much safer to do it at the sink. When I use a DE safety razor, I still use the sink. I guess you can say that this is the only time I can say that a sinking feeling is a good feeling.

Kitchen sink shaver, here. Taller counter height and my sink in on an inside wall so I mounted a mirror & shelf right there. When I remodeled I installed a light fixture above the sink. I tend to shave in the evenings after doing the dishes. It's like giving myself a prize for good kitchen habits.

I've been shaving at the sink since I first took a Bic disposable to my face back when I was a teen. Now at 56 I can think of no other place more appropriate for shaving than the bathroom sink.

The thought of shaving in the shower is just wrong. My wife does that.
I spend up to an hour shaving my face and head at the sink, I also used to be in a lot of trouble not cleaning up every hair, im better now. :)

Amen, Brother. I, too avoid that sinking feeling. The shower shave is smoother because the beard is better hydrated.

I can't imagine taking 35 minutes to shave. Maybe if I did 10 passes. Maybe.

I've shaved at the sink for as long as I've been shaving. I don't think shaving in the shower would even have occurred to me.

  18. Nine passes, as well as shaving my head. Nine passes on my mug doesn't even get me close to BBS. I've given up on that unicorn.

What's the hurry? I used to rush it when I hated it. Those days are thankfully long gone. If I don't have the time, I don't shave at all.
