It great to hear your making alot of progress.
The left hand can be a little difficult at first but it gets easier with more use.

Oh I’ve polished enough Rubberset 400 brushes to be familiar with cleaning up aluminum.

I agree Perry. I’m not looking to pay that price either.

That sounds like Johnny Scoville! He has a YouTube channel called chase the heat. Eats crazy hot peppers

I never have understood the hot pepper thing. I like a little heat but when the cook has to wear rubber gloves that is just over the top.

You should have a felt or a linen strop to use the chrome oxide. Don't put it on your leather strop. Eight to ten strokes with the chrome oxide should be sufficient. Your answers are helpful. 50 strokes, back and forth are sufficient. BTW, I'm not sure what your stroke technique is, but be sure on the transition between the up and down stroke that you turn the blade on the spine and not on the edge. Turning on the edge, at the very least, will dull the blade. The worst case scenario is snapping the edge off the blade due to metal fatigue. If the chrome oxide doesn't work, the blade may need to be honed. As far as the angle, 10-15° is a little shallow for WTG or XTG beard removal. Try to raise the blade just slightly, maybe to three spine widths. You'll have to experiment to get the right angle. You'll know it when it's right, it just feels right. you want to slice the whiskers, not scrape them. Good luck and let me know how you do.

Great minds on the Mudder Focker today, Jim...love the Reserve Cool as well. Definitely one of my favourites.
Love the Palmolive Stick. I even like the scent of it, Perry! The Menthol SC is a winner as well.
Glad to hear the shave was fantastic, Clint, but not happy to hear about your elbow. Get well soon.
That bowl had a bottom? Who knew...
    Stunning brush again, Mark!
Are you thinking that Tech is a frankenrazor, John? Plastic baseplate put onto a heavier handle by a previous owner maybe?
Another incredibly informative Tech posting, regardless.
Big SynBad? Gentlemen SS and AS? You, sir, have definitely arrived.:happy088:
Wow, 5 months already! Great pics today, Andrew, and congrats on the 'Unicorn' injector. I love the Terre D'Hermes scent, but don't have the RR version.
