I fon’t Care who you are, that’s funny!

Congrats to your wife. That’s a huge accomplishment and something for both of you to be proud of. Although I will say if anyone’s wife in the crew can peaceably coexist with any member of this band of misfits, conducting family therapy should be cake. (You know... the voice of experience and all that.)

I didn’t prepare for a pop quiz. You guys are bringing back bad memories.

What kind of plant are you working in, Fuzzy?

Thank you, Jason! Gentleman is my favorite of the Stirling scents (that I've tried so far). I see they offer Gentleman in EDT now, so I'm considering it - however the aftershave is quite powerful on its own. Not that you'll get to experience either the A/S or EDT. ;)
The SynBad is only a 24mm. I consider that to be a nice all-around knot size. Small enough for smaller containers, yet still holds plenty of lather for a three-passer +.

Troy M Prep: Mephitis mephitis musk

Switched up the shaving brush this morning and went from a Plissoft to an Omega boar. My shave was better than usual. I think it had to do with the fact that the boat bristle brush takes quite a bit longer to make a good face lather- like 2 minutes more. That additional swirling and painting softens up the whiskers more than the 15 -20 seconds I need for the synthetic brush or 30 seconds for a badger brush.

    Just thought I'd share.[IMG]

Alphabetical journey through soaps and creams
    Letter R

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Gillette Platinum Plus
    Razor: Personna injector
    Brush: Zenith B02 boar
Soap: RazoRock 'What The Puck' Blue Barbershop
Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

RazoRock Blue Barbershop today. Wonderful scent based on Floid Blue, though I can't compare to original Floid as I haven't tried it, but this scent iteration is one of my favorites. The soap is excellent. Easy, luscious lather in no time at all. Super gooped, applied, and removed whiskers easily with the Personna and vintage Gillette blade. Easy, no nonsense shave all around.

Will be at a conference today and tomorrow, but the good thing it's here in town and I don't have to travel or stay in a hotel. Though I love to travel sleeping in my own bed is always preferable.

    Have a great day!

C&S Oxford and Cambridge Shave Soap
    Fine Lavender Aftershave

I slept so soundly last night that I managed to oversleep this morning. I think I really needed last night. The C&S Oxford and Cambridge whipped up into a very rich and slick lather. The subtle scent of lavender and peppermint was really pleasing during the shave. Three passes and touch ups ended with a near perfect shave. A splash of Fine Lavender and I am off to my office to work on the seasons first tax returns. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
