    @BaylorGator

    I have a question Joseph. I bought the soap and completely smashed it up to conform to the container I have, so it has been broken up sufficiently so far. What is the advantage of grating it further and putting it back into
    the container?

    My response: You create more surface area for the water to react with the soap and therefore, it is easier to make a lather.

    Right. It's what killed Lord Carnarvon (finder of King Tut's Tomb).

    It was my first shave with that soap also, so nothing to compare it to. But it was better than first soap I used

    I can't remember whether I like using shave bowls, or I like collecting shave bowls. Made both. :)

    Right. Starting at the pivot, it's 5mm to the start of the first 180° bend. The inner radius is 2.5mm. The length of the first leg to the outside of the 90° bend is approx. 24mm (don't forget to add a little more for the spring arc). The width of the first leg tapers from 6mm at the end of the 180 to 2.5mm at the beginning of the 90. From the inside of the 90, it runs 5mm with the same 2.5mm width. The next 180 is a 2.0mm radius and continues to a 5mm radius bend on the end. Phew! Hope you can make sense of that.

    I have soaked or bloomed soaps since my teens. I pour the water off of the top of the puck into my hand and rub it into my face.

    I can make sense of all of that for sure. Three years of drafting in high school and an associate degree in Design and Drafting. You are right up my alley. I appreciate your time.

    Thank you Jason. She saw the photo last night. She was happy to see that I am using the bowls. ;)

    Thank you Doug. My wife bought me three different bowls for Christmas.

    My next soap for use will be the WSP . Requires serious blooming.
