Well I just tried the AOS with a 4th shave feather.....stropped of course. The feather was great the first 2 shaves with the Noxzema and went down hill from there and I have a light beard. I dont blame the AOS but I will soon write a thread on how Tallow is not the king....I expect to catch alot of hell but I personally think it is all hype. I will admit my personal findings later. I just think that a certain group of folks wanted to glamourize Tallow b/c it was becoming more scarce. Phooey.....good products are good products. I have veggie based soaps that perform as well as tallow. Yes Tabac is incredible! but some other tallows just dont add up. Coffee is wearing off....back to selling crap on ebay.

Used my QED 24mm BBB this morning with tabac. Went well but the first pass was a little dry. Used tabac so no worries. The bigger brush isn't as nice when face lathering but not bad.

Definately easier for me to face lather creams so I am going to use Connaught for the next week and see if I learn any new tricks.

I see benefits with this face lathering in terms of the beard prep.

I was watching DVD called First Descent, they used a lot of JTB stuff. Was a nice surprise to hear. I need to dig that CD out of storage.

This is the biggest reason I face lather.

I've been listening to a lot of older stuff recently. Some stuff happy and some bitter. I have a six disc changer in my car and it was loaded with Alkaline Trio's albums for the better part of a month. Their writing style is similar to mine and when I'm in a rut it helps me to listen to someone else's pain.

I have What We Do Is Secret at home. It's a DVD about The Germs. I need to watch that. One of my favorite old school punk bands of all time.

    Dom,
Orange Rhyming Dictionary is a CD by Jets to Brazil.

It's Emo before Emo became cool.

Ryan do you have any Nova Mob CD's

No. Actually never heard of them. I'll check them out.

Emo is the lamest term I've ever heard. All music is emotional. All of it. So... yeah, it makes no sense.

Half a sprig of parsley and a backrub.

    Fraternizing with the enemy!

Yeah, it made me cringe to even type the word.

If you ever find a copy of Nova Mob the last days of Pompeii buy it, I have been looking for this cd for years. It's Grant Hart's band after Husker Du broke up.

They're awesome. Boston based 'punk'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission_of_Burma

Pick up Signals, Calls and Marches. "Thats When I Reach for My Revolver" is an awesome song.
