    I used to be a Barbasol guy, but since I started straight shaving, I have been spoiled with using my shaving soap and brush. I don't have to mess up my fingers with lather and the brush sets up my beard for a better shave. I will never go back to goo in a can.

    I much prefer to use a nice soap/brush and face lather - and that's what I do 98% of the time these days. Every so often, if time is tight, the Barbasol (Cremo works great too) will make an appearance.

    Nice slow weekend shave with zero back pain! :cool:Two passes +cleanup with the original Blackbird, a pleasure to hold and use. MDC BB is nearing the end of its run, two shaves left. I plan to refinish the wooden bowl once finished. Paladin, often neglected Buck Rogers, performed excellently. Finishing with Stirling's Sharp Dressed Man and this evening ADP Cedro di Taormina and not only am I super smooth but totally refreshed and rarin' to go. Have a wonderful Saturday all, enjoy your weekend!

    Good morning!

    Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes to BBS result. A little tickle from the alum.

    The IBC shavette is cleaned up and put away, at least for the time being. I progressed to the point that I could get a quality shave from it but I didn't enjoy it. I'm sure I'll get the itch again.
