I gave a quick listen to this album at the itunes store. Can someone email me two of the songs please if you got 'em on your computer? The two songs are Crown of the Valley and Resistance Is Futile.

Not to be a jerk, but... pay for them. If you like them enough to want to own them then you should pay the artist for his/her/their music.

I don't burn CDs or trade music. Sorry.

yawn... I had some friends come in from out of town last night. I drank too much and slept too little. Sure glad I took vacation today.

I don't mind paying the artist, but I'm not giving the big record companies any more of my money.

Then mail them a check directly. I'd mail my whole paycheck to Jade Tree if I didn't need it. Good label.

Shep, can I take $1.98 out of petty cash to send to Brazil?

Just found a bottle of Bailey's that expired in 2005. Mixed with some milk and vodka and it OK. It will work. Going out trivia for first time in 3 months. Place called Bullfrog's. Very red clientele but at least the losing team gets a pitcher of beer. Got to love GA. GF asked what the awesome smell was in the bathroom....left the top of the AOS Sandalwood:) She rarely comments on the good stuff but she loves it:) Woo hoo!

Thank god for the old Kaaza and Napster. I have over 10k songs and live recordings for free. Most of those artists arent starving today. Actually most are dead in fact. But the others? Free exposure is an artist best friend. Free advertising. Real fans of a band will"invest or buy" the albums or attend the concerts. Offspring say download free...they do well. Metallica are a bunch of greedy A-holes....fans bail. People will still pay but I get all trial stuff for free.

I just burned an entire Widespread Panic concert from 2003 atlanta show....for free! Got some sounds tonight:)

A lot of what I listen to is smaller bands on indie labels that aren't rich. I'll support them to the ends of the Earth.

I do agree with that....A band called the Zac Brown band grew up here in Atlanta and has been small until this year. I would buy at least 5 CD's at each show...pass them to my friends and such. Zac would say at each show....buy 1 Cd.....no burn a CD and hand to all your friends! His wishes were granted and he is huge now. I have been watching him since 03. Anyone need a "legit" Zac Brown cd:happy102 He only charged $5....hell I feel I helped him out! Small guys need the support.

previous post was about the big dogs......not the small folk.

alright, pics are up in various threads from my antique outing today. Haha, I'll be going back tomorrow. Something I want to pick up (that's not pictured) and to pick up some things for other folks who've PMed me.

    enjoy...

Just found out our travel crib was recalled as an entrapment hazard. That is reassuring. Had a great day, despite being really tired. Nice getting together with old friends. I am pretty excited about that Schick Platinum too. :)
I was reading about the music stuff above. When I got out of college I deleted all of my music and imported my CDs. It is plenty of music, and even though I loved having the extra selection I decided I didn't want the risk. If I want a song, I buy it. If I want an album, I buy it. I prefer to have the media for some reason.

    Where is everyone tonight?

What kind of travel crib Rodd. Is it one of those pack and play cribs?

yeah, it is a Fisher Price Pack and Play. Oh well, they will replace it for us, it is just disconcerting that he has slept in it when we travel, and it was a potential risk.

    Quiet here tonight.
