    Thanks Brian. It's exciting. We plan to start packing up our small items this week. We've got a mover that we've used a couple of times before lined up for the big items.
    A Barbasol shave is my version of MAYhem. ;)

    I ignore tradition with the asymmetrical traditionals and use both sides. I get great shaves.

    That's what my sister has done....same mover for two of her own moves and for moving some of our Mom's things up to her house.

    Wow, it’s getting tough to keep up with you guys. I don’t usually post prior to catching up. I couldn’t get it done before church. I ran some errands after church and sat down to several hundred posts. I’m now caught up.
    Yesterday , I received a package from Korea. It was the soap that @Keithmax donated to the raffle. I like it! It was my first experience with RazoRock and I like how it performs. It also smells great. Thank you Keith.

    I'm glad you mention the G word, but not for the reason you may think. Who actually pronounces it "Gov-ern-ment"? We always hear "gub-mint", guv-a-mint-gubba-mint". And how about Social Security? That has now become "So-sal Security".

    Monday Shave

    Back to my soap focus, this was put away in the to try it again later drawer. I love the scent but don't remember why it was banished. It performed OK, it was drying out on my face so I had to keep adding water, I will give through Friday and see if I can dial it in.

    This week's straight razor theme is big US steel so today's razor is a 7/8 Hart Steel with a 3/4 grind. Everything was going great but I went to fast and nicked myself just under my chin.

    Irritation A- Closeness A Smoothness A+ Sharpness A+

    Razor: Hart Steel 7/8
    Strop: Mastro Livi
    Brush: Yaqi silver tip
    Pre: Nivea
    Soap: Chiseled Face
    AS: Speick AS, L’Occitane ASB
    Scent: MDCI Chypre Palatin

    Not shave related, but...

    I asked the produce guy at the market if they had any more bell peppers. He said only the organic ones and asked if I was a Patriots fan. I replied ugh and he peeled the stickers off them and said ring them up at regular price. Enjoy your day. [​IMG]

    Day 17.

    Just two passes with the straight this morning. Time was kinda limited and I wasn't about to rush. No blood, and the left hand got equal time. Finished up with the ball-end tech.
    Tuesday I'll get back to exploring a third pass.

    Tried a spray of that cologne at drugstore....man it smells nice.

    Do NOT ...rub that soap on your buns , it's meant for shaving.
