    My USA just has patent numbers . Other says patent 1937 made in Canada .

    I did a search this morning and from the looks of the bar, I'd say it's an E-2.
    Also the retaining clip helps ID it to.
    Then I cleaned and put it into service.
    Works great!

    Mine has the patent numbers and that is a way to ID it too. I'm not near the razor but that's what I remeber.

    Somehow I missed your post Perry. No wonder i never learned the alphabet. Great setup and glad you got great results . Enjoy your day. Also are you going to do Stirling while you are on "s" this week?

    And also as Jason @jtspartan already mentioned, the grooves tell if its a 2 or 3 . His good eyes picked that up on one of my post before where i thought i had an E2 but it was an E3. I would probably have never noticed since it shaves like an E2. The Canadian versions are poorly or undocumented and seem to shave closer . Must be the gap between blade and bar.
    Either way you have a winner .
